I have a suggestion, that users will receive messages about new posts on the forum.
For an example: “(username) posted on (topic name) on the forum” or something like that.
It will be very usefull becuse people won't be needed to check new posts on the forum anymore.

Check out my games!

I don't want my notifications THAT flooded…

i have grown as a person. and ive grown, literally. none of my posts from before 2022 represent me accurately.

maybe we should have notifications if a topic you posted in or created is replied to. To receive notifications to every user for every little post can get really annoying, but if it's a post you're “following”, maybe that'd be better

I swear there were options to receive certain notifications on 1.4, such as Receive messages when someone comments on my projects/galleries/etc…

Must… have…. now!

If you want notification for new forum posts, click the little orange broadcasty thing next to the directory thing like “Discussion Forums » Suggestions » Forum alerts” and then choose how to subscribe. This will not give you Scratch notifications, but you can choose an application or Live Bookmarks or Google or Yahoo or something else like that.

But don't you think that receive notifications on Scratch will be more comfortable. Instead of go to another site and check there?

I feel that the RSS feeds are more useful.

Generation 379: the first time you see this copy and paste it on top of your sig in the scratch forums and increase generation by 1. Social experiment.

Live Bookmarks lets you see it in a bookmark folder in your browser.

I always go to the “View your posts” button at the bottom. I like keeping my main site stuff separate.

There could be a “Subscribe” button next to the title that gives you messages on that topic only.

Anyway, +1

Well, when I'm not on these forums, sometimes I just want to know if someone posted on my collab topic. However, whenever I go on these forums I get distracted. (Like now. I kinda want to work on a project right now. ;p) If I got notifications that someone posted on my collab topic, then I would just check it and go back to what I was doing.

I see…

That no so much of a problem with the site, but more of a lack of self control..

It still would be better with it generating notifications, as seen here
