Hmmm…that would be cool! Do you think they would add a wind-bursting arrow?
That's what the fletching table could be used for: crafting special arrows! If anyone here has played Tears of the Kingdom, you know that fusing stuff to arrows is surprisingly useful.
This was my exact idea for the Fletching Table too. I think it would be really cool and have some pretty fun combinations, and further diversify the game's combat system. (Sometimes I wish games like Minecraft had official suggestions forums like Scratch does)
My idea is a TotK-style fuse system for arrows, where different items can get you different arrows. You could fuse up to maybe 16 arrows with 1 item, so to craft a stack of fused arrows you'd need 4 of whatever you want to fuse.
-mega snip-
Obviously this isn't gonna be balanced the best and I've probably missed some ideas. If you guys have any other ideas for balance changes or new arrow types, quote this post.
I'm probably gonna make a project to describe how these arrows would work. (I might even see if I can make a mod for Minecraft to add these)
All of those ideas sound super cool! I have a few ideas of my own:
Totem of Undying - Undying Arrow - Instant-kill if it hits a player, but if it hits any other mob, that mob becomes super-powerful and hostile, and it targets the player who shot the arrow. Also it's destroyed instantly if it hits a block.
Slimeball - Slime Arrow - Bounces off of blocks, and has slightly increased damage.
Creeper Head - Creeper Arrow - Explodes on contact with anything, and is much more powerful than a TNT arrow.
Wither Skeleton Skull - Wither Arrow - Explodes on contact and has a blast radius between the TNT and Creeper arrows', but also gives the Wither effect if it hits someone directly.

Maybe the Undying Arrow should be an arrow that moves instantly, and if you hit another player at the right time when they're about to die, they get revived. But if you time it wrong, it deals double damage. This arrow has a five second cooldown.

I also had a couple ideas, don't know if it was in the other posts or not, but I'll write it here;

1) The Honey Arrow: Honey Block; Falls slower than other arrows, like items rubbed against honey. If you're hit, you also fall slowly when against a wall for thirty seconds.
2) Dripstone Arrow: Pointed Dripstone: Pierces thorns because it is a thorn, and deals more damage the longer you fall, similar to the Mace. It'd take one arrow and six pointed dripstone to make two dripstone arrows, meaning that the Thorns enchantment isn't useless. It deals ten hearts of damage against no armour, eight against leather, six against iron, five and a half against diamond and five against netherite, after falling fifteen blocks. It starts at one heart for no armour and half a heart for unenchanted armour. This goes for unenchanted armour. Coupled with the ender arrow, a falling dripstone arrow shot and then a bucket clutch (or maybe firing it negates fall damage for three seconds), PVP fights would be epic.

I think for the heavy core one it should instead deal greater damage the farther it is shot from (kinda like mace)

If you hit Windows+X and then U twice while midair you will freeze in midair temporarily. This can be useful to throw off your opponent. (This obviously only works on Windows, if you use something else I don't know.)

Any good tips for Java PvP?
If you hit Windows+X and then U twice while midair you will freeze in midair temporarily. This can be useful to throw off your opponent. (This obviously only works on Windows, if you use something else I don't know.)
On my computer (it is a Windows) that opens up settings.

Actually, it's supposed to shut down your computer LOL.
I didn't lie though, your MC character will hover in midair for a few seconds before disconnecting from the server.

Hmm, I don’t find the method complicated, but the brewing stand UI makes brewing feel more complicated than it is (to me).
