No. It was changed for accessibility reasons.
However, there are a number of Scratch mods and browser extensions (can't say which ones because the ST banned naming browser extensions on Scratch) that allow you to change the purple, often with a preset to go back to blue.

If it really bothers you that much, Turbowarp has this option.

The devs really need to update the scratch-gui repo- I'm getting at least 19 “npm warn deprecated” warnings whenever I try to install its dependencies, and yes, I'm using the latest version of node.js and npm. Then again, the dev page on this website and the wiki in the repo still refer to Scratch 3.0 in beta, and link the current website as an example of 2.0.

I also like the blue theme way more soo i use third party scratch extensions to make the pages blue again

If it's a option then it's a maybe. If it applies to the entire site and you can't change it, then it's rejected (See #7.14 on TOLoRS.) You can discuss having an option to customize color schemes on Scratch here.

Who knows. This suggestion might be implemented. Unfortunately, though, it’s ultimately pretty unlikely that it will ever be officially available again.
