Profile Rules
Is it against any Scratch guidelines/terms of service to break someone's profile rules? For example: If their about me section says ‘No Ads’ and then you post an ad anyways.
Hello! I hope I helped answer your question.

I looked through the Terms of Use https://scratch.mit.edu/terms_of_use and cannot find anything prohiboting advertising other than “Harmful commercial use includes spamming or repeated advertisement through projects, comments, or forum posts.”
While advertising is technically allowed (Unless I missed over something), it's frowned upon and is pretty annoying to the game owners who have to take down the comment. I hope this helped.

Also, people can delete comments on their profile page and in their projects, so that you can moderate your own spaces. If anyone complains about “Free Speech”, it doesn't apply in most countries to corporate or nonprofit areas, meaning you can censor whoever and whatever you want. On your own pages, the ST has given you this power. I looked through the Terms of Use

Forum tips:
Don't title topics something like “HELP ME!!!”. It's not helpful, and won't get you as many responses.
Don't post in topics where the latest post is over ~2 months old, unless you have something critical to add. Especially in topics that are several years old- it isn't helpful, and is known as necroposting.
Don't post unrelated things in topics, including questions of your own. Make a new topic for your questions.

Advertising in the wrong places is in general While advertising is technically allowed (Unless I missed over something), it's frowned upon and is pretty annoying to the game owners who have to take down the comment. I hope this helped.not allowed: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/396541/
This is less about “profile rules,” and more about advertisements. Any advertisements on the Scratch website can be reported, so if you post an ad, the user can report it, even if they don't have “No Ads” written on their profile. See the link above for more details. Is it against any Scratch guidelines/terms of service to break someone's profile rules? For example: If their about me section says ‘No Ads’ and then you post an ad anyways.
If you have another example of a “profile rule” that you have encountered, feel free to share it here.
This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

Thanks! I also do wonder though, is it against any rules to use someones pfp or banner that was made specifically for them?Advertising in the wrong places is in general While advertising is technically allowed (Unless I missed over something), it's frowned upon and is pretty annoying to the game owners who have to take down the comment. I dont know, since it's copying someone's profile picture or banner they won't like it so they might find ways to get them to remove the pfp or banner. Thanks! I'm like 80% sure that if someone's pfp or banner is shared on Scratch, you can use it with credit. if they aren't comfortable with you using it with credit, they can choose not to share it on the Scratch website. unless you're using it without credit or are deliberately using it to be disrespectful, you won't get in trouble for using it. Thanks! I also do wonder though, is it against any rules to use someones pfp or banner that was made specifically for them?

Aside from advertisements, profile rules should generally still be respected (if reasonable), for example, if someone has had prior trauma to, say, a fruit (idky they would, but they could), and made a rule stating that they don't want the fruit to be discussed on their profile, then you shouldn't do that. Ofcourse, if someone made a rule that was like “@exampleuser1234566789IamNotRealHehehehaw is not allowed on my profile” then you don't have to follow that and can instead report the rule.
