“What I Changed” Text Box

Do you think that, on a REMIXED project, instead of a “Notes and Credits” there is a “What I Changed?”
This could make people feel like they NEED to change something, which is exactly what a remix is. You can’t share the project until you fill out the “What I Changed” box.
And maybe in a small font underneath, it could say something like “Remember that you have to make changes to remixes!” just to remind people of the rules (thanks to @-PizzaKing- for the mini-text phrase).
Maybe this could help the remix problem? Lots of trending and featured projects have lots of silly remixes without changes, mostly because they want to be “First!” (for what reason, I still have to figure out lol)

Example:

Thanks to @username for the original project Scrolling Engine!

Instructions
Arrows to move. Explore the (bigger) world!

What I Changed
Remember that you have to make changes to remixes!
I made a bigger world, and added sounds!
Credit to @username for original scrolling engine

I think “Remember, you could get reported for lying or making a remix without changes!” could be changed to “Remember that you aren't allowed to lie or make a remix without changes” to put more emphasis on the rules instead of the reports because people seem to blame their projects being taken down on the reporters instead of themselves (the rulebreakers) so my revised version could direct attention away from that.

Also, the replacement of Notes and Credits could cause small issues but that could be fixed by merging it with instructions to create “Instructions, notes, and credits” so that way there are still only two text fields. This is probably fine because less credit is needed due to the automatic credit box given on a remix.

I don't have much else to say about this suggestion right now. It's a good suggestion that I believe would be genuinely helpful to the scratch community.

I agree on the first paragraph; Ima edit the OP. For the second paragraph, I think that we can abandon the Notes and Credits, because we can just as easily put it in the instructions. Lots of Scratchers (like me) sometimes like doing this, as we “get rid” of the Notes and Credits. But thanks for the ideas!
yay a suggestion that's actually doing good

Support! I recently had a bunch of impersonators, and they were remixing my projects to look like they made them. My projects (Only the trending ones) have a lot of remixes, and at least half of them don't change anything, nor do they credit me.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make. (Credits to ZaChary) My signature thankfully hasn't been eaten by an evil kumquat yet, so I hope it remains that way. My 100th post!! Be sure to follow after watching my animations!!
Please note that I may sometimes give out incorrect information.

This is a great idea, I think it will promote more meaningful changes to remixes.

I think the “Remember that you aren't allowed to lie or make a remix without changes!” can be fixed a little by saying "Remember that you have to make changes to remixes“ to remove that negative feel about lying. Also, this will definitely cause some confusion to already existing remixes and would be a very difficult switch.

I think we can just add a reminder under the credits that say ”Remember that you have to make changes to remixes" and add a link to a forum page by the Scratch Team on why this is important.

Overall, I think this concept can benefit the quality of remixes.

Maybe instead of making Instructions double as Notes & Credits, make the field stay as Notes & Credits (or possibly changed to something like Changes & Credits), but change the gray “placeholder” text and still make it required for remixes (possibly enforced through a yellow warning that appears on the notes if you try to share, like the description word filter), like this:

(Though placeholder text this long will probably overflow with 2 remixes.)

I like this idea because it also helps people realize remixing without making any changes isn't allowed. It is also convenient to people as they help people know what to expect from the remix. However I think there should be some exceptions for really really big remixes with a bunch of changes and you basically just need to credit them at that point as its obvious what changed.

It probably would be hard to detect “really really big remixes” though, but it would just help people get into a habit I guess

The “what I changed” could just be combined with notes and credits like in this mockup.

Try to refrain from saying, ‘No support’. It comes off as extremely negative. “The forums are for criticism! Don't post it you don't want it!” Agreed. But I never said that you should agree with everyone. No suggestion will ever be perfect
What sounds more constructive?
“No support, people would spam with it”
“This would lead to a lot of spam, since people can't get away from it. Not to mention, it might upset a few people with the way it's implemented”

In #1, you didn't help OP at all. You said you didn't like it, and why. Nothing else. Not even what was causing the issue of spam
In #2, you pointed out the flaws and the root causes of them. Flaws shouldn't always get a suggestion absolutely ignored

And simply supporting doesn't always help either. It's not a voting system, it's improving your ideas. There's going to be cons, there's going to be flaws, and that's the point of the suggestions. No suggestion is ever 100% perfect in any way
Here are some things you can look out for:
-Are there any flaws/cons that haven't been addressed or fixed?
-Is this idea fully flushed out? Or are there some questions you can ask?
-Are there any flaws that you know how to fix or do you know how to flush something out a bit more?
-Is there anyone else who is confused and needs some clarification?

If you don't have to do any of these, then you can move on!

Is a suggestion unable to be added because it's just impossible? Point out why and have them decide what to do next
But still, try not to say ‘no support’

1. I assume nothing would. Just the text you changed. You probably wouldn't be forced to add things however. (And I assume you only mean remixed old projects but this only applies to remixed projects)
2. People are auto-credited in remixes. If someone wants to check who made something (like a song) they could check the original. Besides, its not forbidding you from only entering what you changed, you can still put credits. No one is going to have your project taken down because, "It had credits where it said instructions/changes :("

EDIT: OP even included a credit in their example where they would usually put changes
