This applies for dark mode. For some people, it's hard to see bright lights.

One thing that I would like to note is that my eyes are in fact, hurting really bad right now from this blinding screen.

The dark theme existed in Scratch 1x, but the developers got rid of it in 2x.

Why not re-implement it? Sometimes bright white can be straining to the eyes, hence need for an option to enable a dark mode.
