[PLEASE DO NOT PROTEST THE PURPLE] An option in account settings to change the site's theme and navigation bar colour
I think that this discussion has gone most of the places it needed to, but there's still a couple unresolved things, and we do still have a couple new ideas coming from people like @The-Sushi-Cat and @Cookiebuns. Judging by the comments, this is getting nowhere
So far, the most active parts of this discussion seem to be (and where I stand on them at the moment):
1. Where color preferences would be stored (Where I stand: I'm fine with wherever it gets stored (local or cloud), but it would be nice, as @banana439monkey said, if the preferences carried over were based on account (cloud) rather than device (local).)
2. Disallowing oversaturated colors (Where I stand: I could see putting a warning on it, but I think that's as far as it should go. I want to be able to put whatever color I want on the site, especially when it comes to the navbar. I think the warning would be enough, and, according to @mumu245 (#1534), having a super saturated red isn't actually that worse for your eyes than the white constantly shining into them by default.)
3. There was that one post from @Cookiebuns (I can't find it; maybe they got rid of it.) about changing block color in the editor, which really should've been it's own suggestion. (Where I stand: I just said that.)

I lowkey dont think that's true, my computer is like 7 years old and some colors dont process correctly on my screen. It's what makes it so hard to differentiate blue and purple on my screen(#1586)How? Monitors display all colours the same way, and computers process them the same way.

why what you can do that I on the wiki? Okay changing my skin on the wiki rn

I’m just a little concerned that the 8 year old kids of Scratch would want to customize their skins, but type in ”dark orange” rather than #b35000, and then there would be a bit of confusion, but I’m sure they’ll get it if they ask someone who understands hex colours.
cough cough
I mean maybe Scratch would take dark orange as a color, but other less heard of colours like periwinkle or lavender may suffer.
CSS colours? (they use natural language like DarkSlateGrey)

Personally, I support.
I think the idea of customising your Scratch home page to your bidding is pretty good ngl , I also see perhaps as well as colours, a few (obviously not a lot) of pre-made patterns (polka dots?) could be available for the tabber.

Current 3.0 (default) (purple colors), Classic 3.0 (blue colors), 2.0 (2.0 colors), and 1.x (1.x colors). Also when selecting Classic 3.0 or 2.0, the 2.0 pages will have 2.0 colors. You can customize the project icons to be outlined or light gray, you can change the Remix button to any hex color you want and with 2 default presets being Current (default) (#328554), and Classic (#10be8d) and you can also add presets. Your own presets can be deleted or edited by you while default presets cannot be deleted or edited.About that post back in Jan 27 2024, I am going to change that. The default presets would be Regarding about customization, you can add presets. The default presets would be Current 3.0 (default) (purple colors), Classic 3.0 (blue colors), 2.0 (2.0 colors), and 2015 2.0 (2.0 colors from 2015). Also when selecting Classic 3.0, 2.0, or 2015 2.0, the 2.0 pages will have 2.0 colors. I still can't verify what the 2.0 navigation bar hex code is and what I mean is the blue one that's in 2.0 pages.
