Do you guys listen to any artists that are sort of r&b + hip hop? I know some that are pretty good but they are mostly r&b. I also wanna know if anyone is a Tyler fan, he's my top artist lol

Hot take: Future's mumbles/word slurrings/growls sound much better than Carti's

I know everyone's going to be talking about what Kendrick said on the new Metro & Future album, but honestly I'm just surprised he showed up at all, he barely does features anymore.

Crunchyroll should never be allowed to host Miku Expo ever again.

Listened to WE DONT TRUST YOU around 5 times now, definitely top 2 with Blue Lips rn this year, can't decide between the two. That Kendrick verse lives rent-free in my mind right now though. Can't stop thinking about how it's gonna start a whole war in hip-hop. Guess our chances of seeing Kdot, Cole, and Drake on a song together are pretty non-existent, at least for the time being. Can't want to see how Cole is gonna reply on The Fall Off. Pretty much all the features were amazing except Thuggers, but that was more a soundbite kinda thing anyway. Carti has been on a wild feature run recently. But that Pet Semetary line was absolutely crazy, hearing it during my first listen made me freaking explode. But yeah, those are my thoughts, this year is gonna be a great one for hip-hop, with Carti, Cole, ASAP, Keem, Beyonce, Vultures 2, Wayne, and the Em and Dre/Snoop albums.

Completely agree with everything you said.

But I'm worried J Cole will take ages to respond (only on The Fall Off) and/or won't respond properly, and also that Drake won't match Kendrick's lyricism. So I'm hoping other rappers get involved as well. Baby Keem and Kendrick teaming up for this would be cool.

Does anyone know what Metro and Future have against Drake tho??

ah okay thanks. i think metro is because once he posted criticizing Her Loss winning all the awards, but then he deleted it, then Drake called him a “tweet and deleter” (in that same anita max wynn stream iinm). Kind of small for Metro to do a whole freaking diss album but I'm here for it lmao
