I might be necroing, but I just want to do a much-needed suggestion.

+1: Support. This feature is in many other programming languages, like in Python:

print ("Hello, World!")

So why not Scratch? Block idea:

print [] :: pen

But where would the text go? Another idea:

print [] at x: () y: () :: pen

Maybe have the 2 as separate options or use input arrows, like in Snap!:

print [] @addInput :: pen
print [] at x: () y: () @delInput :: pen

They could also add a filter to the type block or users can just simply report it.
