Turns out the iOS app shortcuts can be used to make somewhat malware (I say somewhat because you can’t really do that much malicious things with it)

Mirai, Flashback, XCodeGhost, Pegasus, Dendroid

I'm sure there's some a couple of more well known ones that I've missed, especially for Mac OSX and Android

True.

Back on topic, though, Lose/Lose (an art piece themed after Space Invaders that deletes your files if you shoot an alien) can sometimes delete its own files, making it a (theoretical) self-destructive game.

Yo! It's me, ChameleonGamer! Shift and down to read more.

These fellas are my guards! They attack any nearby kumquats.

I've wanted to make a ‘living’ program that modifies it's own code. Hmm

Yup!
Paired with later generations of specifically trained AI, we're not far from a movie-like super computer virus that can naturally adapt.

Computer Viruses

hey quick question, my antivirus (PC Matic) keeps blocking a file called, “shieldvpn” specifically it was blocking, “upgrade.exe” within the shieldvpn folder, I have no idea how it got onto my computer, I managed to get it in the recycle bin but just to make sure, is shieldvpn malware or is it a false positive?

don't forget

I've not heard of either PC Matic nor Shieldvpn, so I don't know of their reputations. If you still have the EXE files you can upload them to VirusTotal to see if any other antivirus scanners detect it.

Computer Viruses

The likes of Ambulance, Casino, Techno, and Skynet brought a new level of notoriety to the world of computer viruses. And the Bumerang Windows Worm/Virus—well, that was a crafty piece of work, too. They all had their unique ways of spreading and causing mischief.

Danooct1, the YouTuber, really dives into the realm of these viruses, doesn't he? It's quite something to see someone exploring them and showing their impact without causing harm.

Flytech and Enderman are also worth checking out on YouTube. They have been covering computer viruses for years now

speaking of which, we need to support Enderman at the moment due to current situations, someone's false reporting his videos and they're getting taken down

I think the most effective way to basically make a Windows computer unusable is to make a .bat file that opens itself, and then put it in the startup folder.

consider posting here maybe?
hey guys
