The Informal and Unofficial List of Rejected Suggestions
Strictly speaking, it's not rejected, since it's not even closed. I agree it would be rejected — but I don't have the authority to determine that. Nevertheless, I probably would not add it to the list anyway since I don't see it suggested often.Fair honestly, you're right since it's not been rejected yet, as it isn't even closed. Fair.
Oh, alright. My apologies. They can ask here; they are asking if a suggestion is rejected or not. That is relevant to this thread.Question: what is the status of the idea of a search box for the forums? Please ask on Questions about Scratch, not on TOLoRS.
Just saying because it doesn't belong here. Thank you.
My apologies, I thought they did get closed at 500 pages.Topics get closed at 500 pages(or above) to save server costs and space; That's not true. Forum topics don't get closed just because they are above a certain number of pages.

I think the Scratch Team could think about 2.6 (Increase the clone limit) and 8.3 (Show when users are online).
2.6 could be added by letting people choose what they want their personal clone limit to be. They could also decrease their personal clone limit to below 300, too.
8.6 could be added by giving an option to show if they are online or not.

If you want it below 300, just code it so you can't have more than the desired number of clones.

I'm not sure how the suggestion forums work, and this is the best I can do, I'd like to state that I do not consider ai moderators a solution to any problems, ai are too glitchy to be an option, while I have no say in the matter, I'd appreciate if you took this into consideration if it is requested by someone else.

Remove update contrast@Za-Chary is not a Scratch Team member, so he can not unreject suggestions. I don't think he's removing it from the list because it's suggested quite frequently.

Remove update contrastHonestly contrast helped my ADHD out in focusing by being eye-catching as a peice of code I cannot understand and cannot make sense of even if I did the code.
I personally don't agree with you. Plus:
Genuine facts here, as said above:Remove update contrast@Za-Chary is not a Scratch Team member, so he can not unreject suggestions. I don't think he's removing it from the list because it's suggested quite frequently.
@Za-Chary is a retired Scratch Team Member, he is no longer apart of the Scratch Team;
Also this is suggested frequently and like said, he cannot unreject a rejected suggestion.

This might seem… minor, but here it is:
On 1.6, the block currently looks like this:
On 1.6, the block currently looks like this:
add () to sublist () of [list v] :: listHowever, I don't think that the first input should be a number input, it should be a text input (similar to the add to list block), so the block should look like this:
add [] to sublist () of [list v] :: list

And I think Section 7 should be split into “Scratch Community” and “Website Features”.Thanks for the feedback. I have to wait on this since I won't have time today to deep-clean the list, but I'm still interested in doing it. I'm also interested in hearing others' thoughts on this (splitting Section 7 into two sections) if anyone has feedback.
Can you add links to the list of contents to?The list of contents is the 20th post on this thread — at the bottom of the first page of the thread. I also add a link in the OP: "Click here for a table of contents with shorter explanations on why suggestions are rejected." What specific links do you want me to add?
This might seem… minor, but here it is:Done, thanks. I figured I used ( ) to make it more consistent with how 3.0 blocks look, but the comment block displayed in 1.12 also uses [ ], so whatever.

Do you think @jvvg's essay on the purple header could be helpful in 7.14?

(#7535)Would make sense in all ways, and perhaps a short explanation of WCAG.
Do you think @jvvg's essay on the purple header could be helpful in 7.14?
Scratch targets worldwide as educational so they gotta follow WCAG.
Incase it could be useful I'll link a post by ajskateboarder here.

e
though, thats fair, because wouldn't it make scratch way more buggier?
*eye twitches*Increase Clone LimitYeah, I think that's rejected.
possibly rejected?
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/375856/Please don't bump up old threads unless it's really necessary. The clone limit we've added is a practical one to prevent projects from becoming unplayable. Otherwise, you could accidentally get sprites making infinite copies of themselves and such.
