Add a “stretch” effect

Would the stretch effect only stretch on the X-axis?
It could stretch the Y with the X axis, but the X only stretching feels like a more practical, easy-to-implement deal.

2 ways this could be looking:

set [Stretch v] effect to height: (0) width: (0)
change [Stretch v] effect by height: (0) width: (0)

change stretch by height: (0) width: (0)
set stretch to height: (0) % width: (0) %
I was thinking it would look like this:
set [stretch v] effect to (0)
change [stretch v] effect by (25)
as pretty much every other form of it has been suggested.

medians: Oh god not this utc - 12 thing again..
Fun_Cupcake_i81: What, were you expecting not to see the utc - 12 thing again? THE UTC - 12 THIGN ALWAYS RETURNS. ALWAYS.
medians: I knew it would happen. I was the one who started it last year.
Fun_Cupcake_i81: Well then if you didn't want it back maybe you need to time travel to last year and fix that

Oh wait if you could time travel I think we all know exactly when you would go-

user2: But this is medians we're talking about, so “from 2.0” can mean the same thing as “from five seconds ago”.

If the stretch value was set to negative, what would happen?

My guess is that it would stretch backwards, similar to the “whirl” and “fisheye” effects.

Despite what my About section says, I have been using Scratch before 2019. 2019 was the year that I first joined Scratch.

Same, but I was thinking that it has to indicate which axis to stretch on:

set [stretch X v] effect to (0)
set [stretch Y v] effect to (0)
