⤿ Hello! I'm Jaden(she/they) an artist, roleplayer, and frog lover. I am currently a middle schooler who uses emoticons and lol a little bit too much. I spend almost 100% of my time of scratch roleplaying :) Some of my hobbies are reading, writing, biking, and hiking. (And taking care of my cats, although I'm pretty sure that doesn't count lol(plzz dont correct it into an emoji forums-) Although I don't do these often, I also really enjoy ice skating and fishing. In general, I would consider myself to be both chaotic and laid back.

Why I want the child:
⤿ Hmmmm… Gorgeous design, fun name, rp that I don't have a character in yet, why in the world would I not apply?

⤿ I'd say that I am really active on Scratch, but I'm not on like 6 hours a day or anything like that, so I'd say 7.5/10.

Do I harm my characters often:
⤿ No, not excessively. I do try to keep it realistic though. For example, if Curly was fighting a larger and more talented cat, I wouldn't have them leave unscathed. At the same time, I also do not go looking to give my characters injuries. In fact, the people who do that to their characters disgust me. I could never do that to Curly. (or any of my other characters)

Detailed personality:
⤿ Curlykit is a cat with a creative-mindset. When faced with problems, they’ll think up innovative and unique responses. This is aided by their curiosity. One of their goals in life is to ask questions no one has thought of asking. In their eyes, knowledge is one of the most precious things. It’s the knowledge of how to heal that lets the medicine cat save lives. It’s the knowledge of hunting that provides food for the clan to survive. Curlykit is persistent in both finding answers, and in just about anything they do. They will not throw anything less than 100% into a challenge they are facing, and will not stop unless they cannot continue. Even then, they’ll feel a sense of incompetence and anger at their lacking skills. When it comes to judging other cats/conflicts Curlykit is fair. They think about the situation from both cats’ point of view, and will decide who to side with based off of who they feel is doing the right thing. Curlykit is also logical when it comes to most aspects of their life. They are not easily swayed by their emotions, and will think things through rationally. Curls is observative. They’ll study things intently, and remember them for later. This greatly improves their learning skills, having memories and observations to go off of. One of their more annoying aspects is that they are quick to argue with other cats. They strongly believe that they are always right, and will defend their point of view. If anyone contradicts them, even over little things, they will argue with them for a long time. Another part of what makes them so quick to argue is that they are narrow minded. Once they have decided on something, it will take a lot of persuasion to make them change. Curls has a strong, firecracker-like temper. It flares up quickly and easily, but they also get burned out after short amounts of time. Curls is a control freak. They will completely freak out if even the smallest thing goes wrong.

Curlykit’s actions

To themself:
⤿ Curls thinks highly of themself, but has a lot of self doubt when they fail. They are humble regarding themself, and will downplay their abilities. The one thing they will take pride in is their optimism. They always believe the best about the situations they end up in, and cats they slightly mistrust.

To their clanmates:
⤿ Curls is trusting and protective towards their clanmates. They are a social butterfly, and very cheerful. They always think the best of their clanmates.

To clanlife:
⤿ Curls works hard to fulfill their obligations and support their clan. Despite the fact that their father is the medicine cat, they’re not interested in that career at all. They have great respect for the warriors of their clan, and want to be among their ranks. They would never say so openly, but they want to go beyond simply being a warrior. They think their logical responses, creativity, and fair judgement would make them a good candidate for higher leadership positions.

To the warrior code:
⤿ Curls sees the warrior code as too restricting. Even though this is how they see the code, they also know that it brings stability and order to the clan. It is the backbone, the code of how to act. It is because they see these things that they follow the code at all.

To Starclan:
⤿ Curls finds the idea of dead cats watching them to be unsettling and creepy. They also believe that both they and their clanmates should live the best lives they can, and Starclan seems like cheating.

Roleplay sample:

Kit:
⤿ It was one of those days that there seemed to be nothing to do. Other than staring at a wall, of course. Curlykit was doing just that. That and listening to the music of the downpour. The soft pitter-patter of raindrops hitting branches of the trees above, the not-so-soft singing of the wind, and the occasional drumbeat of thunder created a stormy symphony. Stormy and symphony. Curlykit liked words like that. They both started with s and ended with y. Beside them, a soft yawning could be heard. Curlykit sighed. At least now they had someone to wait for the silence after a storm with.

Apprentice:
⤿ Bright, colorful bursts of birdsong. The rustling of leaves in a gentle breeze. All familiar sounds to Curlypaw. Normally, they would love just being able to listen to the birds. Today was different. Curlypaw’s mentor was watching from the shadows, judging their performance. Curlypaw could not afford to be distracted. They had their eyes set on a brown rabbit. It sat there, unmoving. Curlypaw crept forwards, a silent deadly shadow. The winds shifted, and the rabbit sniffed the air. It was about to run when Curlypaw pounced. With a quick bite to the neck, Curlypaw had won. They held up the rabbit proudly.

Warrior:
⤿ A brown and white blur rushed out of the camp gleefully. Even though Curls hated being cold, they loved the snow. There was only a thin coating on the ground, and it would all be gone by the next day. Still, the ground was white, and the tree branches had a thin layer of frost on them. Good enough for Curls. The snow completely transformed the word around them. That was the main reason they loved it so much. After a short amount of running, they came upon their favorite place. Curls’ fractured reflection peered back at them from the ice along the stream. It had formed unevenly, some bits higher or lower than the rest. This made Curls’ reflection look even stranger. A gleeful giggle bubbled out of their mouth at the sight of their distorted face. Curls started shivering from the cold and sighed in annoyance. Time to go back to camp. Under the right conditions, the cold could be deadly. Curls slowed down to not overexert themself. No one questioned it when they slipped back into camp. In fact, no one had been scared at all when they weren’t in their nest. It was snowing, after all.

What do I hope to accomplish with them:
⤿ I hope to create a character that is not really evil, but accidentally mean. I instantly chose Curly for this because I got the sense that they would be the sweetest of the bunch from looking at them. I love creating characters where their looks are deceiving. (Honestly, I don't do good descriptions of Dusky, but that's what they are supposed to be. He was supposed to look big and menacing but in reality be super sweet) Also, I typically rp the nicer characters, and for a while I have wanted to create a character similar to Curls.

⤿ Charismatic
Crizzy can be described as having a ‘silver tongue.’ This is due to the fact that they are skilled with words and tone. They are very good at convincing their siblings to do their work for them. They also will discover at a young age that they are very talented at lying. What will they use this skill for? Well, getting out of the trouble that they get into obviously. Besides, it was not their fault that they didn't know that they were not allowed to leave camp as a kit!
⤿ Quick witted
Crizzy is able to think fast to come up with solutions to things almost as soon as they happen, but it will more likely be used to think up new ways to insult their siblings. Sensing some possible character development in this area :gasp:
⤿ Prokaryote(okay, I was talking with my friends in seventh grade about their science test as I wrote this, so I typed what I was saying lol. This is a joke btw)
⤿ Intellegent
Not only is Crizzy able to quickly come up with retorts, those retorts are intellectual. They learn quickly, although if anything, this just makes them more smug about their superiority. Not only do they learn skills quickly, they learn them well.

Crizzy is a very determined cat. They'll go quite far to complete their goals, no matter how small and silly they seem to other cats. Not only will they go far to complete their goals, they also take promises very seriously. A single broken promise, and the small amount of respect that they might have for a cat will crumble.

The small amount of true friends that Crizzy has will have to learn to live with the fact that Crizzy loves arguing and constantly teasing them. Once they can accept them for the way they are, Crizzy is very protective and loyal to them. They would even go so far as to attack a cat who messes with those that they care about.

Crizzy has a very strong desire for success, along with a determination to get their own version of success. Are their goals and definition of success a bit crazy? Yes. Does that matter to them? No. They'll still try just as hard. Crizzy's version of success is well… World(Or clan i guess lmao) domination. After all, who could be a better tyrant than Crizzy? Ooooooh development in this department possibly :000

Negative

⤿ Judgemental
Crizzy almost subconsciously judges and categorizes cats into one of a couple of different categories. Stay-away from, smart, potential friend material, etc etc.
⤿ Rude and blunt
It's not that Crizzy goes out of their way to be rude, but they just say whatever flits across their mind at the moment. And that is typically something sarcastic, rude, or just downright mean. One thing that you can rely on though, is for them to always share their opinions. So if a cat ever feels desperate enough to ask Crizzy their opinion, the cat can expect the full truth from them.
⤿ Manipulative
And of course, what is the point of charisma if it's not meant for manipulating others? Or maybe, well, /nudging,/ them in the right direction. Should Crizzy feel guilty for this? Yes. Do they? Not one tiny bit.

❝Oh, here comes Crizzlekit. I should probably run away.❞

Head held high, graceful strut, amber eyes glowing with mischief. A dismissive sweep of their tail. Wide, stable stance. A defiant smirk stretched across their face. Crizzlekit /was/ beautiful, but they were the kind of cat most would want to stay clear of. By this point, most of the queens had probably told their children to steer clear of Crizzy. After all, what kind of mother wanted to risk having some of Crizzy's less agreeable traits rub off on their precious kits.
“That's the kit who tries to bully their parent.” Whispers followed Crizzy wherever they went. Not that it bothered them much. If anything, it just added onto their already incredibly inflated ego. If anyone tried to confront them on that, they'd probably snort and say that yes, they did try to bully Nif-nif. Not that they were very good at it or anything.
Crizzy stretched in the sun, a simple sigh of relief escaping from their lips. Stretching felt just so good. And they probably looked good while they did it. Crizzy was aware of their appearance at all times, and tried to always look pretty. Vines with little yellow flowers, feathers, purple maple leaves. It would not be uncommon to see these woven artistically into their fur.
Amber eyes flitted back and forth, searching for one of their siblings. Crizzy couldn't help it. It was just too fun to mess with their siblings. Oh, Crizzy didn't /always/ mess with them. Sometimes they would just play a game of moss ball. That was always nice.
Crizzy was very playful at times, although it never showed up when Crizzy was not with family. Crizzy never did like to think about it, but they had a small amount of social anxiety. Not that it mattered much.
Turned back to the matter at hand, Crizzy moved in a fluid fashion, almost gliding into the nursery.
“Curlykit? Curvykit?” Two pairs of eyes turned to stare at her. A genuine smile crossed their face for a split second. Amazing. Let the fun begin.

Personality:

A cream colored kit tumbled out of the nursery, eyes shining with excitement. They joyfully chased after a little butterfly, rubbing past the other clanmember's legs. Amused smiles followed them wherever they went. “Hello,” they chirped cheerfully to each and every cat. The carefree and upbeat(+) kitten made sure to say hello to every cat each day. It was very important to them that everyone felt wanted and valuable. While doing this, Curvy kept their eyes on the flittering monarch. Nothing could get in the way of this determined (+) kitty! With a merry flick of their tail, Curvy launched into the air, flailing at the butterfly. Curvy, being just a short kit, could not reach high enough. Even then, they kept on trying. It was quite obvious that they were being optimistic(+), there was no way that the tiny cat would reach the butterfly. That was when they noticed it. Something was shimmering in the bushes! The butterfly was important, but Curvy's curiosity(=) took over. As they padded closer they realized what it was. It was just a piece of disgusting twoleg trash! Curvy was naive(-) enough to have thought it would be a huge shining butterfly. It was nothing of the sort. Curvykit turned their head in time to see Crizzlekit wander out of the nursery. Being indecisive(-) as usual Curvy was unsure of whether or not they should stay or go talk to Crizzy. Eventually, they trotted over good-naturedly. “I- can I have some time without you?” Urvy froze with shock. “Uhm, why?” Their voice was small and afraid of the answer. “You're just so… Clingy(-).” And with that Izzly trotted off. Urvy's face drooped. Were they clingy? They supposed that they probably were. Crizzy was always right.

A carefree smile marked Curvykit's face. Even when there was a thunderstorm, or buckets of freezing snow falling on to the ground. Usually someone like that is hiding secrets. They will seem so happy and joyful, while in reality they are even more broken than everyone else. A shattered glass wrapped up in cloth is still shattered, even if it seems whole. Curvykit wasn't like that. Curvykit was genuinely happy, and genuinely loved all of the other members of the clan.
This is a story that begins and ends the same. With a sweet little kit named Curvykit. But each story must have a journey, a change. Maybe thousands of little changes. Curvy's change shall not be from whole to broken. And that is how this particular story begins. Growth. Broken to whole.

While most of the other kits were out playing, Curvykit was watching. A single lemon-colored flower had burst up through the ground. tiny leaves uncurled off the stem, and petals had begun to uncurl.
Flowers are miracles. They die each year, but somehow they always come back.
They watched intently, a tiny guard for a tiny flower. They were hoping to see it move, fully open up for them. Of course, flowers cannot just suddenly uncurl, and they most certainly cannot read minds. Still, it seemed to grow so much in one night. Curvykit wondered how.
A single raindrop splattered on their nose, causing Curvykit to leap several feet into the air. That was surprising. With dread, Curvy turned back to the flower. What if the rain washed it away?
It was the beginning of new-leaf. There would be more flowers. But Curvykit felt a strong sense of protection towards the flower, to the one that was brave enough to try to survive first.
They collected sticks off of the ground, carefully building a small structure around the flower. Four walls. One roof. Yet as they placed the last stick, it all tumbled down. Right on top of the flower.
“No!” A high pitched shreak tumbled out of their mouth as they frantically removed the sticks. The flower was fine. Maybe it would be better off as it was now, rather than protected from the rain. After all, it rains all the time. Flowers are meant to survive rain. Besides, it was only a light drizzle. In fact, now that they thought about it, they had likely hurt more than they had helped.
The sun was rapidly dropping below the horizon line, and Curvykit slowly got up and trudged towards the nursery. Their eyelids were slipping shut, and they felt like their feet were rocks.

…

The next morning, Curvy woke up to the sound of rain pounding on the roof of the nursery. For a moment, their only thoughts were about how relieved they were that they were in the nursery.
Then their thoughts quickly changed to thoughts of the flower. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. They pushed themself up on to aching paws and yawned, exhaustion still thrumming in every single fiber of their being. They peeked their head out to see…
The flower was fine. Still standing tall. Good. They heaved a sigh of relief.
Crack!
Shrieking.
Mud flying.
The evil laughter of the wind.
Curvy stared in shock as the tree branch. It had fallen right on top of the flower.
Their face was wet. Not from the rain. From the heavy tears of sorrow.

But this is a story of growth. It cannot end this way. No, it ends with resolve.

And so Curvy remembered. Remembered the flower, and its bravery. But most of all, Curvy remembered the fact that flowers are miracles.

There are my ‘editors,’ and I often find them chilling on my keyboard, writing long streams of nonsense that take so long to delete. If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be layed back. (Well that's actually two words, but whatever.) Okay okay, I came up with a one word version: Chill. I am typically calm, although if I do find that I have a lot of energy stored up from my day, then that calm energy turns into chaos. If I have lots of energy, you can find me spamming my friends with long strings of nonsense. (I can just blame it on my cat then, so one has to know it's me lmao) But for the most part, I try to keep my online energy chill.

In Taddy's own personal opinion, someone who seems to love you but thinks you're stupid is far more hurtful that someone who just tells you what they think.
