Midium - A programming language in Scratch

With easy-to learn syntax like Python, Midium can be used by anyone with experience in coding

And of course, we keep remixability and performance in mind.

Midium is a programming language in Scratch. It's made to be easy as Python, and the syntax is like Python.
I have made progress myself, but it's just too much to do for one person. So please apply if you have time!

Why you should join? This is a big project. You can learn working in a team. The collaboration is heavily organized. We don't have nearly enough staff yet. Please apply!

Staff rules

You must be online in Scratch at least once per three days if you haven't send an inactivity request.
Be mature and use common sense.
If someone in the management team says to you something, you must follow it.
Don't just join and be inactive.
You must have general knowledge about Scratch. You must be decent in the position you are applying for.

Management team rules

You must be online in Scratch almost every day.
Be mature and use common sense.
If someone higher in management team says something to you, you must follow it.
Don't abuse your position in any way.
You must put effort into the collaboration.

Jobs

Available management team positions

Co-Owner

Helps the owner. Leads the management team.

Staff Manager

Manages the staff. Makes sure that the staff are following rules. Responsible for making sure the staff is active.

Social Manager

Manages stuff such as the forum topic, the studio and more. Sends possibly updates on how the collaboration is progressing.

Development Manager

Manages especially the development team. Makes decisions on development and makes sure the development is running smoothly.

Design Manager

Manages especially the designing team. Makes decisions on project designing and makes sure its running smoothly. Not as major as Development Manager.

Testing Manager

Manages especially the testers. Is in contact with Design Manager and Development Manager to notify them about bugs, or other improvements.

Syntax Manager

Plans the programming languages syntax, and is responsible for it.

Available staff team positions

Backend Developer

Develops and codes the backend (Code that is not responsible for how the project looks). As example the compiler.

UI Developer

Develops and codes the UI, also known as frontend (Code that is responsible to how the project looks).

General Developer

Develops and codes anything in general related to the project.

Social Designer

Designs stuff such as banners to be used on the forum topic or anywhere else related to the project, such as the project logo.

General Designer

Designs other stuff mostly related to the project itself.

Sound Effect Producer

Makes sound effects for the project.

Music Producer

Makes the music for the project.

Tester

Tests the project for any bugs or improvements that could be made.

IMPORTANT:

Plan the syntax carefully

Designers:

Design the coding editor interface
Plan other features to the project

Developers:

Start coding the code compiler (Parser, ETC)
Add functions that the designers want
Improve code that already has been made (Remember, performance and easy to remix)
Develop the coding editor (Make so you can add lines, remove them (text engine) and when the syntax is done, make so that certain
keywords are with different colors

Sounds and music

Make button sounds
Add a background music
