I forgot a lot of things about AspectOS over the summer. But now I remember

I can start making the dragging part for the windows (I'm going to use a sprite, no pen), all i need is a design for the sprite costumes.
I also borrowed an encoding engine from @IGABMS.

For the windows, I use a method for dragging the windows at the top of the window, just like when you drag a window by the top for a browser.
So then we'd have to make it so that you can only drag it from the top. But how do we do that?
We'd need an engine for stretching the windows too. It probably needs to sync with the mouse.(btw, i found a pen-based click detector system by a friend i know. Maybe that can help with the window dragging and expanding problems?)

Will we be using the pen for this? If so, I think we should try to find a way to not stretch out that top bar and only stretch three of the sides of the window. If that one window is unaffected, then dragging it won't be that difficult. We could also use Nezon's pen engine for this type of stuff since you can drag it around and stretch it out (I think)

What is it? *YooEngine* is a tool built for detecting mouse events within a given set of coordinates.

What you get:
1. Basic rendering engine (advanced version coming soon)
2. Support for detecting mouse hover and click(ing)
We can use this for the windows

Nezon's engine makes the windows draggable, so there's an easy fix. this can detect hovering and clicking within the perimeter of the pen boxes, so that's a good fix too. And kkidslogin's engine let's us customize the windows so that it feels original to the OS. But what about expanding the windows? Maybe we can make an engine for that?

So far, I have finished the support page for the website! Of course, there are some flaws with it like how there is a tiny space where you can scroll but it is only a couple of pixels. But I think that is it.

I don't know.

I was thinking we do experiments to see if we can merge all of them into one, and then call it “Pen Playhouse” or something like that. Of course, we will give credit but it will be our own open-source engine for OSes.

Weird thought though. I keep overthinking things.

Y'all do realize I haven't had time to actually work on my pen window engine right? Maybe I can begin to expand the TackSoft engine today.

I am, it is more customizable and has coyote frames to improve draggability. If you're wondering about performance, one window on my laptop that performs worse than an intel PC from 2006 (I have the AMD CPU) and regularly takes longer than 10 seconds to load a wepage- one window runs lag-free. It also looks better with certain styles, such as rounded corners.

This laptop is defenitely slower than a chromebook, and it's running Windows 10, which doesn't help.

Should I add a “Filled Mode” at some point so we can also use it for the taskbar/sidebar/app dock, as well as other things?
