Is this a ban, delete, or termination?
Recently, I checked a Scratch user's profile, and was confused… the account page was unavailable. However, when I checked the user's projects, I was able to access them, but I wasn't able to comment, even though it didn't say comment posting was turned off. Do you think the user was terminated, banned, or do you think they deleted their account? This user was a very good Scratch friend of mine, and others were confused on why they couldn't access their page. Any answers?

Scratch doesn't tell you if an account was banned or deleted, however if the user's profile page still exists (which by reading the post, probably doesn't), then they are just banned. I don't know about deletion, because if they did, their projects would probably no longer be accessible.
If you know the person in real life or have another way to contact them, then maybe try asking them.

I don't know them in real life. But since your answer rules out the possibilities of a ban or deletion, I will assume the account has been terminated. However, I will look more into the situation. Thanks!

It is entirely possible they could've just deleted their account.

My thoughts too. I've seen people delete their accounts and their project comments glitch out a few times before.
It is entirely possible they could've just deleted their account.

That’s what may have happened with @Jolly_yak900. A classmate of mine when I was in year 6. The thumbnails of the projects appeared and they appeared in search. But they couldn’t be viewed anymore

On Scratch, bans and deletions exist, but what do you mean by “termination”? I haven't heard of that before.

There is an option to show projects for deleted accounts.
