I know this project started a long time ago, gained a lot of traction, but lost it all as the core subject faded from relevance, but it could still go on because a micro-community was formed (i.e. at least ten other people). Before we get restarted, let's cover a few categories:

WHAT TO DO:

If you're casual, visiting other's works in this meta-project is a good way to support the creators. (the fewer views a work of “art” has, the more beneficial it is for them to have their work be seen by you) If, however you want to add to the meta-project, just find a work and remix it as long as you follow the rules. Speaking of which…

THE RULES:

Rule #1: If you remix someone else's work, look at the “story” it has and then progress it in the direction you want it to go in, but it should not go off the rails.
Rule #2: If you have Addons, do not remix your own remixes, if you already contributed.
Rule #3: You can only remix one person's work once.
I hope you're not bored to death, because I've left the saved the two best categories for last.

The second direct remix of the starter project is finally out!
I hope this opens up many new stories to emerge from out-of-the-blue

I made the first remix of the second direct remix of the project, just 100 minutes after it was out. Scratch Cat got punished for being TOO popular. I wonder if that punishment may make him even more popular?

Scratcho became so angry, that he managed to pick up a Spike Box and used it like a baseball bat to destroy the title (Little Scratcho), and altered it to LittleChato Scr.

First, smg30 only made things worse for Scratch Cat while he's nailed onto a sign, by introducing Pico (One of Scratch Cat's friends) and making them(self) angery at him, then Scratcho's antics cause the program he's trapped in to crash created by sarun2521, one of the returning artists, and of course meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! What will arrive next?

A lot of activity has occured in the last few days, but too many people are creating Remix Chains, not Remix Trees. The project's intention is for people to create many stories instead of one long story. Don't be afraid to bring in your own ideas to projects that deserve multiple “direct remixes”.

I have been busy with Pixel Mania for a couple of weeks in May, I have also been waiting patiently for this project to gain ANY traction since January. Now that @Catzcute4 has entered the picture for first time in nearly a year, I will have a little celebration!!!

I may be 2 days late, but a new contributor, @-teamocean2-, has arrived along with @Catzcute4 quickly following. Hopefully, things should sail more smoothly.

Today, another new contributor arrived to shrink Mr. Scratch Cat again known only as @Stickmin3000remixer! A bit later, I went back to Catz' base project and made it into Scratch Cat Goes Skiing. Catz, however, was not impressed and I had a bit of beef with them for a few minutes. They made another remix during the beef. I think today is the day where there'll be more people to hopefully tell stories, with the mindset of “Story -> Gimmick”.

Last week, a lot happened, another new contributor @randomdudeperson just stumbled upon the Shrinking Cat Branch possibly because of Catzcute4. -Teamocean2- returned surprisingly enough, and then I went back to the main branch to pump out one “”“last”“” remix. Then there was radio silence until I remixed randomdudeperson's project to show some atomic dangers; i.e. an Atomic Fish.
