I have recently found some Stronghold seeds on Minecraft! Have you found any seeds with massive Villages, maze-like Strongholds, or Monster-filled Prisons? What are their seeds? What did you do with them? Did you make a house out of a Stronghold? Or did you find a Stronghold in a well in a village, add stairs and turn it into a village school?

5. Put heaps of chests containing ores and put blocks of diamond and gold in all the rooms

It's possible to “cut” Nether portals using the End Portal - construct a Nether portal within the End portal so the End portal goes around it, then light the Nether portal, and then activate the End portal. You'll then have a Nether portal with a hole in the middle!

It's pretty glitchy and will often teleport you to the wrong location, such as inside a wall, where you will suffocate in the wall and die. Boo.

Other things you can do with this include placing doors, pistons, beds, saplings, whatever really in the space where the End portal generates. Then when you light the portal the blocks that make up the End portal will be replaced with the portal - but it doesn't give an update to anything around it, which allows you to have half-doors and stuff like that. Try it out, it's pretty glitchy and fun.

Anyway, my survival world has the Stronghold located within a Mesa biome. I can't believe my luck. I'll try to remember to post the seed when I get home

The seed is 98262 if you want to check it out PC 1.8.8

I think it's the closest stronghold to spawn.

The seed 290482260067070826, discovered by Azelef & Crafterdark, generates a stronghold with all 12 ender eyes already filled in.

Interestingly enough if it generates like that, there's no way to turn it on! - unless you're playing in a Minecraft version later than 15w49a, where the bug is fixed

This is extremely rare and only 1 in 10^12 seeds has a portal like this.
