chapter 1

“What a good nights sleep” I said as I got up from bed
“Oh wait the robotics tournament is today , better wake up Peter “ I said to my self. I walked up to Peters door I knocked and said “Peter you up yet”.
Well I’m living with a friend at the moment because my parents and family members are dead. “I’m up”Peter announces “we got to get a move on we’re gonna be late Peter” “ok Michael I’m coming”when me and peter got downstairs peters mom was in the car waiting. We got in the car,it was my turn to sit up front as i was talking with peter i heard a loud crash. I was in pain and then everything went black

The next month


I awoke in a chamber or lets say containment device.
I broke the window and started running out of pure panic
As I got a safe distance away from the unknown building
I started to feel different I looked down at my self and said “Oh My god what happened”.
Somehow I grew fur and paws . “What do i do now,should I go see peter i can trust him”. I started walking to his house very nervously.

1 hour later

I got to his house and knocked on the door.
Today peter is home alone.
Peter opened the door he was on his phone .
I layed my paw on his shoulder and said “don’t be alarmed peter its me Michael”. Peter looked up, and very nervously peter said “Michael is that you”
“Yes” I responded “but why do you look like a wolf,Michael” peter asked frantically “the fact is I woke up like this in some kind of facility”I said.
“Let’s go inside I don’t want to draw any attention to you” peter said
“Good idea plus I’m starving” I responded. “Well we are all out of food because I’ve been stress eating a lot…..” then suddenly the Garage door opened. Peter said “go to your room I’ll deal with mom” i rushed up to my room I heard peter talk to his mom he said “Michaels back …… well he is quite different, mom come with me Michael is in his room “ i heard footsteps and then the door was opened when I turned around his mom was shocked .Peter said “well this is Michael now mom” peters mom frantically asked “. is… that… you… Michael”
“Yeah its me”. I was embraced by his mom she said “now take off the costume ” I responded “ there’s one slight problem I can’t, these ears paws fur tail and nose are real,I’m a wolf now” his mom looked at me like i was crazy “is this true don’t lie” asked Peters mom “yes its true just feel my paw there is no hand any more” I answered “aren’t you a Zoologist” i added “yes but this is extraordinary just curious can I take a sample of your fur please” peters mom replied“yeah” i replied “just a question do you need anything” his mom added
“Yeah, can I get some water” I replied as his mom walked out the door “Peter you ok “ I asked “I thought you were dead” Peter replied
“Well I’m not” I answered “michael, you lost all of your limbs in the car crash crash “ Peter replied “what car crash?” I asked confused “of course you don’t know I will tell you later” Peter answered.I was suddenly embraced by Peter he was crying “I’m just glad your alive, wolf or not” Peter sobbed “well I got some water but I don’t know how you will drink it Michael” peter’s mom said at the door “oh yeah I forgot I have paws now um this will be quite embarrassing can you get me a bowl, peter you can stay if you want,but its going to be weird ” I said hesitantly. “It’s ok I’ll stay with you. I’ve been worried about you for the last month “ peter replied “ “peter how long have i been gone?”I asked
“You have been gone for a month and a half” Peter replied “about the car crash is that why I’ve been gone for so long” “yes we were on are way to the robotics tournament when a 200 lb truck tire came loose and struck the right front passenger side were you were sitting and crushed you, you were screaming your lungs out and then you blacked out , it took them 1 hour to get the tire off of you , I swore I have never seen someone in that bad of a condition as you were. you were just a torso with a head. I swore that you were long gone but here you are” peter explained . His mom just walked in the door with the bowl there was a awkward silence she placed it by my bed.

Chapter 2


As I Lapped up the last of the water peter asked me “ how do you think you turned into a wolf Michael” “I’m asking the same question” I mumbled “Is it possible that your transformation is permanent” Peter asked
“Well it has to be permanent the amount my body has changed isn’t reversible“
I stated.”wait a second In the lab I was in I saw another wolf it was pink” I said
“What lab were you in”peter asked “I really don’t know”i responded “what color were its eyes” peter questioned “i think brown but why are you asking” I responded
“A kid recently went missing and had that description, let me go get my laptop” peter said peter walked back in to my room with a new laptop.
Peter pulled up a site where missing kids were reported he scrolled down to a icon clicked on it “yep that’s her she is in the lab she had the same hairstyle” I said “let me go get mom” peter replied
2 minutes later
Peter and his mom came in to my room first thing she said was”so you found a missing kid/wolf” “correct her name was Audrey white i saw her in the lab” I replied “so what’s the plan” his mom questioned “well I need to extract her I will do it but I need transportation because i remember the way there” i answered
“So when are we doing this “ “11:00” i responded “ok” mom replied
3 hours later
I got in to the car with his mom i sat in the back this time
10 minutes later “ok this is the place open the hatch I’m going in” i annonced
I tried opening the door first it didn’t budge so i broke the glass door I ran into the lab the alarms were going off I finally reached Audrey I broke the containment glass grabbed Audrey and very carefully ran to the car i placed Audrey on the pillows in the back jumped in the back with Audrey i closed the hatch and we sped off I was covering a cut with gauze to stop the bleeding when Audrey stirred “she is alive” I said. When we got the house peters mom opened the hatch I carried Audrey to my room and went to peter “she is here should I wake her” i asked “yeah” peter answered me and peter walked over to where Audrey was laying “Audrey ,Audrey”i said Audrey’s eyes started to open
As soon as she saw me she saw me she said “who are you and what….. are …..you”
“Take it easy Audrey I’m michael and this is my friend peter………………. it’s kind of hard to explain what you and me are and why we are like this …………well this will alarm you but you and me are wolves” I explained
I got a mirror and showed her her face She was horrified “is this……. Real” she mumbled
“Yeah, hey peter can you get your mom” I replied “no please don’t get anybody” Audrey mumbled
“Peter’s mom already knows she helped me rescue you she can help” I replied at that moment peter’s mom walked into the room “I know its late but can i talk with you two?” Peters mom asked “that’s fine” i replied “hey Audrey I have a couple questions for you, how did you go missing” peters mom asked
“It was my parents desire to have wealth they sent me off to the lab to be part of an experiment for money then they reported me missing and then sued the lab but I’m pretty sure they lost the lawsuit because I changed so much so they didn’t recognize me ” Audrey explained “but why would I be sent to the lab after a car accident?” I asked “perhaps the hospital couldn’t identify you and just sent you off to the lab”peters mom said “well you two need to get some rest” mom added and walked out of the Room
“Why is there a bowl by the bed” Audrey asked “well,we can’t hold water bottles with our paws” i replied
“Oh yeah”Audrey said “do you need anything Audrey” i asked “no I’m good”audrey answered.

The next morning
“Michael,audrey I will be going to the store for a little bit there’s water down stairs”mom announces I got up stretched and looked at Audrey she looked a little under the weather “Audrey are you ok” i asked “no” she sobbed “what’s wrong”I asked but i already know what she is going to say “I’m just panicking and overwhelmed “Audrey mumbled I sat down by audrey “it’s going to be alright, we will figure this out lets go to the kitchen I’m thirsty”i said
I was lapping up the water when i looked back audrey was hesitant to drink out of the bowl “Audrey its fine just drink it’s just you and me” i said . Audrey started to slowly drink from the bowl as she finished “not so bad was it “ i asked “well it’s like second nature” Audrey replied

Chapter 3


“Should we go to school next week” I asked audrey “well if we do go to school

were going to have to have each other’s back and stay together all the time”audrey answered and then the front door opened peter walked into the house “hey , Michael and audrey I have some great news for you” peter exclaimed
Me and audrey turned around “what’s the good news?” I asked
“Tomorrow is costume day at school”peter answered
“Yeah,what about it” I asked
“I think you guys can go to school tomorrow”peter answered
“I dont think your mom would approve of me and Audrey going to school ” I responded “mom is going on a work trip tonight so mom won’t know your going to school” peter responded
“Are you sure, about lunch how will we keep it a secret and our mouth , eyes tail move realistically ”I asked “its our only chance to go to school, michael” audrey interrupted
“Peter, let me think about it” i said while i was walking up the stairs with audrey
“Ok” peter replied
As i walked into my room I examined my self in the mirror my fur was sticking out everywhere I really didn’t mind it because I was at home and it was only me audrey and peter at home. “Audrey should we go to school” I asked “well we’ll only get looks and common facination from students” audrey answered
“Yeah, well lets go tomorrow” I replied “one problem,I don’t have supplies for school” audrey stated
“I dont either but lets just see how it plays out” I replied “ok “ she said “dinners here,audrey and michael i will bring up steak in a second”peters mom exlclamed mom came in with 2 raw steaks “i got two raw steaks for you guys and also I will be gone for the next 2 days peter will help you do normal things” mom said “thanks” me and audrey said at the same exact moment. we started to chow down on our first meal in a month after i was done i said “I’ma go talk to peter” “ok” audrey responded
I walked into peters room it smelled like melted plastic “whatcha doing peter” i asked
“I’m 3d printing a device to make you and audrey able to drink out of a water bottle but it wont be done Tomorrow” “oka ima get the air matress” I went and grabbed the air matress and walked back into my room with it and some how plugged it in to the wall with no problem and turned it on “ima go take a shower” I said
20 minutes later
I walked into my room audrey was already asleep so I layed down and fell asleep.

chapter 4–School

The next morning

I awoke to peters alarm I got up and got my fur under control and awoke audrey. Me and audrey headed to the living room there were two new laptops on the table one was in a ASUS box and the other one was in a no name brown box from behind us peter said “the ASUS one is yours , Michael and the brown box with my b450 prototype in it is yours audrey” but we can’t use them” me and audrey replied
“I think that you maybe able to do it” peter replied “oka when do we need go” i replied “right now we need to go you guys dont have bags so you will have to carry the boxes to school. Ok” peter answered
We set off to school
20 minutes later

We entered the school doors every body was stareing at us confused. me and audrey made it to our lockers, but we didn’t need anything from our locker so we made our way awkwardly to our first class
When we walked in everybody was stareing at us. Me and audrey sat next to each other I whispered to audrey “should have we done this” as soon as i said that a random kid came up and sat next to us and said “nice costume” “um,this is not a costume” i replied his eyes shot straight up as soon as i said that
“What do you mean” he asked “well, if i tell you this please don t run, we are wolves we used to be human but we were experimented on and turned out like th……………….. there was a crash, sirens ,dust
A car crashed in to the building, a man jumped out of the car and started running and i ran after him,I pushed him to the ground as the police was apprehending the suspect I heard audrey screaming “michael help” i ran back to audrey she was holding peter “he is not breathing” audrey yelled “I’m going to pick him up and take him some where safer” i said franticly i picked him up and ran to the armored swat van “help he is not breathing“. One of the swat officers ran over his eyes were on peter “peter,stay with me i dont want to lose another one “ the officer said then I reconized the officer it was peters dad i ran over to his dad whom was
Preforming CPR on peter. Peter suddenly became conscious and was gasping for air “hey dad, its me michael I’m alive” i said to peters dad he looked up and was startled “is that really you michael” peters dad asked “ yes it is it is I’ll explain later “ I replied, audrey ran over to me as soon as Peter was put on the stretcher . “We need to go with peter Audrey “ I said we hoped in to the ambulance. As we hoped in-the paramedics looked at us shocked but mostly still focused on peter and his vitals…..
