how do you get to curate projects?

uhhh how does someone get to be able to select projects and put them on the front page?
What I'm asking is how does the Scratch Team make you able to curate projects?

I would recommend looking at this project - it has all the instructions. Here they are:

How do I submit an application?
1) Create a project explaining why you would be an awesome curator. Be sure to answer these questions in your project: What types of projects do you like? What kind of projects would you curate?
….

2) Create a sample studio with 5-7 projects you would want to pick for homepage. Also, place your application project in this studio.

3) Once you've completed both steps, post a link to your project in the “Front Page Application” studio: http://scratch.mit.edu/studios/386359/. We'll check it out and let you know if you've been selected.

Please be as creative as possible when developing your projects. There are no guidelines or constraints :]

TL;DR: if an FPC favorites your project, it will appear on the front page. If you are chosen as an FPC by making an application, you will be able to do that.
