>>>READ BEFORE POSTING ABOUT BACKPACK ERRORS<<<
Hello, I am here to create a topic that explains why a backpack will say “Error Loading Backpack”!
So, I have seen quite a few topics in bugs and glitches about “my backpack didn’t load” or “error loading backpack”. I, In fact, have experienced this bug myself. This is when you put a sprite in the backpack and this shows up:

So, there are a few reasons. One is that there is a lot in your backpack and it may not be able to contain too much without crashing. Another could be is that there are a lot of costumes or code blocks could make it too hard to load into the backpack, making it crash. One more reason could be you put too much sprites into your backpack at the same times. Yet another reason could be, you have too much stuff in your backpack, and it immediately goes to error loading backpack before you put anything in there. This could be due to the amount of sprites in the backpack or the amount of code/costumes actually in the sprites in the backpack.
To sum it up, your backpack can’t handle too much data in it at one time.
Also, here is another common backpack glitch for phones:
The backpack will not open
This often happens due to screen size/orientation. The screen is so small and compact on phones that the backpack actually doesn’t have enough room to open itself, so it doesn’t open. You will have to try a separate device, unless there are some pages that open the backpack (I believe the bitmap mode allows for backpack opening.
Did this help? Is there anything inaccurate! Is there anything I’m forgetting? Let me know by replying! Let’s see If we can get this stickied!
Topics asking about this:
EDIT: made a reserved spot for the photo and put the links in a quote box.
EDIT2: added “did this help” sentence
EDIT3: added in the photo
EDIT4: added “sum it up” sentence and changed title to make more clear it is a guide, as well as saying I have experienced it as well.

How long is the song? If it is very long then I should add that to the OP

If you really are scared, make a new project to act as your backpack

There is not a limit to the number of things you can put into your backpack. This is not the cause of your problems. There ARE file size limits for individual items that you put into the backpack. Most of the time you are having trouble putting something into your backpack it is because the thing you are adding is larger than the file size limit.
There is a known bug where the file size limit for the backpack is slightly different than for a project, so it can cause confusion. Some items, like large sound files, will be too big for the backpack but not too big for a project. We haven't fixed that one yet. This is almost certainly the actual problem people are running into when they can't add things to their backpack.
That said, there may be other issues caused by something else.
