Are you looking for a beautiful banner for your shop? Or do you want to learn how to design one yourself? Well, you're in the right place! I'm @redglitter and I have worked at banner shops and academies many times before. The SBDA aims to be a fusion of the two, where students can practise their skills by taking real-life banner orders! We hope to teach students the skills they need to create beautiful banners, project/studio thumbnails, logos and more, and provide our customers with the highest quality art. Our Shop
Don't be deterred by the word “academy” in our name - you can come here to shop for banners, thumbnails, and logos too! On our order forms, you'll notice that we ask for your “preferred group;” this refers to the different types of employees working at our shop. If you'd prefer for your order to be taken by an experienced artist as opposed to a student, that's completely fine - just let us know! However, please, if you can, allow students to take your order. Since they're still learning, it you may have to ask for multiple revisions to get everything exactly how you'd like it, but it would be really beneficial to their learning! We aim to offer speedy order delivery (within a week) and top notch quality, and are happy to make changes to your completed order if there's anything you're unhappy about. Academy

Our academy aims to provide students with all of the skills they need to create beautiful designs using Canva and other programs. Whether you're completely new to design, or you have a little experience, we hope to help grow your skills by allowing you take orders in our shop!

We would also love to hire some teachers for the academy. We are looking for Scratchers with a lot of experience with designing banners (and other art) using Canva OR any other app.

If you're applying to become a teacher, please complete the below assessment and insert it into your application. Thank you!
Design a co-ordinated logo and banner themed around your username or a shop. It must contain the following elements:

• Colours that complement each other
  
• Nice fonts
  
• Use of text and graphic effects
  
• Interesting and creative ideas
  
• Graphics and images that don't get in the way of the text
  

Your application will be more likely to be accepted if you show:

• A good knowledge of tools in the program you use
  
• Some transparent elements used for effect (e.g a watermark)
  
• Fonts and text effects that complement the rest of your “composition” well
  
• Curved text!
