The API that shows how many comments you've posted on Scratch either doesn't exist, or is private so that only admins can access it. using the api?
Magnifier Then how does magnifier GET the comments, but can’t count them?crawls through the entirety of Scratch, finding and saving the comment and username onto Magnifier's database. The same way how ScratchDB indexes posts on the forums, since there is no official API.

No one except for the Scratch Team has every comment ever made stored, and the Scratch Team also doesn't provide an API to get every comment made by a user.
The only way to find out how many comments someone has made is to count them all. However, you can't count all of someone's comments unless you have all of their comments. The only people which have all of the comments is the Scratch Team, and the Scratch Team doesn't provide an API for that.
