MAKING SCRATCH EDITOR MOBILE-FRIENDLY
Hello!
I was wondering if Scratch Editor could be made mobile friendly somehow? So that mobile users could also use scratch editor to make projects and enjoy it!
Thanks!

MAKING SCRATCH EDITOR MOBILE-FRIENDLY
Scratch was designed for regular computers, not phones and tablets. That design ranges back 18 years and it would be extremely hard to make the editor mobile friendly. It would also mean that these commonly used blocks would get removed, which would cause massive backlash from the community:
when [ v] key pressedNo support.
<key [ v] pressed?>
point towards [mouse pointer v]
go to [mouse pointer v]
glide () secs to [mouse pointer v]::motion
<touching [mouse pointer v] ?>
(mouse x)
(mouse y)

MAKING SCRATCH EDITOR MOBILE-FRIENDLY
Scratch editor can be used in tablets, cause I very often use it in my tablet. And that is why I used the word ‘somehow’ like if it is possible. Maybe they could add some different blocks for the mobile-friendly scratch editor? And anyways if it cannot be done, that's fine, it was just a suggestion so that mobile users could also enjoy making projects on scratch.

Get it from play store. It also has many new extensions like face sensing!Scratch was designed for regular computers, not phones and tablets. You can use it on a big tablet or 360° touchscreen laptop.
I'm soon getting a touchscreen Chromebook that's foldable, because I find the art editor and dragging the blocks easier in touchscreen. It even works with the online editor, if you don't want to install the Scratch app.

I'm confused… the Scratch editor is already designed to be mobile-friendly, i.e. work on tablets. Is your suggestion for it to work on mobile phones?

Yep I mean working on mobile phones not on tabletsAh, yes. I think mobile phones can be a little tricky, as they are not very big and so you can't do much work with them. It would be interesting to see if it could be optimized somehow, but it may be challenging to make Scratch projects on a phone.

I think it will be extremely hard to operate from mobile phones due to the small screen and you can't do much also.

MAKING SCRATCH EDITOR MOBILE-FRIENDLY
I am going to take this suggestion to make the mobile editor more mobile-friendly. Maybe assets sizes could be shrunk so it is easier to use on mobile and not so packed? But then mobile devices is the reason they made blocks big in the first place. But working efficiently is more important than performance. Any other ideas?

I think the least that should be done is to make it possible to use all features on them. For instance, on an iPhone, it is impossible for me to create or edit a custom block, because the “ok” button is obscured by the edge of the screen, and is impossible to get to (at least I haven’t been able to use it). And since custom blocks are so important within my programs, I never use scratch on mobile.

If I remember correctly, the developers did not consider mobile phones when making Scratch 3.0 compatible for tablets.

MAKING SCRATCH EDITOR MOBILE-FRIENDLY
Hello!Well yes the scratch app was released on android tablet devices, sadly, not smartphones. – But also meaning android tablet users can use scratch, but If I'm sure, scratch won't be completely mobile-friendly, unless you search up a game that is mobile-friendly on the Scratch website if you have an Iphone or a Android smartphone, or any other mobile device. — But overall scratch was originally designed for pc, windows, mac and other computer devices; there are at least more than 2 computer blocks/commands, meaning; if they were to make scratch mobile-friendly they may have to delete some computer blocks or commands, Yes, Scratch may have to delete some computer blocks such as:

<key [ v] pressed?(if thats true.) unless they actually make a mobile-version of scratch, and one for computer. But chances, they will not make scratch mobile-friendly until the time is right, it may take a while.

Maybe, they should make a new website specefficaly for mobile. Kinda like MCPE instead of Minecraft Java Edition. Now, I know it would be hard but how about make it that you had the editor. messages, login system, and a bit of projects. I think that would be cool. Like a stripped down version of scratch for mobile phones.
