Yeah. The “toaster macbook” i have has like 10gb storage left. on an SSD. it runs soo slow that i want to smash the computer

Also I made a word bigger in your quote, and I heavily doubt that …

I have tried multiple browsers same errors malware is not the cause . I keep my os updated and believe me i have been using chrome since 2017 and it has issues with no site except scratch. I started using scratch using 2020. So the issues are from the site.
I also made a word bigger in your quote i heavily doubt chrome is insecure because until i visit many not secure sites then only there is a hack.
Only thing is that everything is sent to google.

A lot of people use Scratch on Chrome and have no issues, so it's likely a fault from your side.
