At shops you can sell your art, scripts, and more for ScratchCoins. ScratchCoins are a “currency” that was created for this purpose. ScratchCoins have imaginary value(they don't translate to real money) and can be used to buy and sell products. You pay through the pay terminal and then the seller can use this money to buy other products!

Wait…okay, so you're telling me I'm selling my precious ForestCraft securely when I have to be on the Pay Terminal at all times to anyone who wants to buy it? I don't know if I call that secure…

This is a good idea. I don't know if I've heard of it before. I just don't know if it goes against the rules or not….hmm

You only be active on it when your buyer is purchasing. Shops is not against the scratch terms of use or community guidelines, the “ScratchCoins” have no value and the interface is entirely safe - that is assuming that scratch is not being hacked by an evil genius, which is quite rare. Shops is not built for selling projects, but rather individual or packs of art or scripts. You can also sell an entire sprite. Technically, you can sell anything.

No, not that, the ToS says that all things you share are public, so that's why I was a little skeptical…by the way, when replying to people on the forums, we use the Quote button on the bottom-right of the post.
