Ah I see! I am very sorry for that misunderstanding. However, quoth w3schools:web based languages(Ruby, HTML, CSS, Javascript, learning vbscript)Um. I know a variety of
Anyway really all I do right now is processing and twine
I'm pretty good at CSS and can write basic Javascript, but as long as you let me google stuff
Um.
I'm sorry but I don't quite understand why you bolded those two words. VBScript is a web based language and is taught on www.w3schools.com
"VBScript is a scripting language. However, it should not be used for scripting in the browser."
One of the main reasons for this is because it is only supported in Internet Explorer, and people using a variety of browsers and operating systems should be able to access your site.

Why is it that all of the C related languages are SO MUCH HARDER than others. PHP can be pretty horrid and so can Java, but when I do anything with C, C+ or C# I feel like a child =/. ANyone have a similar experience?

I've looked but I can't find anything.
Does anyone know where you can learn a programming language (any, I don't really care) online that is free and doesn't require downloading like some 100 mb compiler? Cause I don't want to spend any money and 100mb files? Ain't nobody got time fo dat. And I got no DSL speeds fo dat.
Thanks

If you want to learn C, C++, or Objective C, MinGW is probably the way to go for a compiler and then you can learn from tutorials online (cos they're all over the place). Your local library probably has some books on C and C++ too; I know mine has like 6 or 7.

I feel your pain. PHP is my fav to do stuff in but it's kind of gross-looking and I wish I could do more with it so I'll probably end up learning C++ or something at some point.

I know the basics of PHP, however, the whole DATABASE part confuzzles me -_-I feel your pain. PHP is my fav to do stuff in but it's kind of gross-looking and I wish I could do more with it so I'll probably end up learning C++ or something at some point.
I've been listening to…
Ogre Battle // Queen // Queen II // Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Progressive Metal
Orion // Metallica // Master of Puppets // Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Instrumental
Damage Inc. // Metallica// Master of Puppets // Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal
Snow (Hey Oh) // Red Hot Chilli Peppers // Snow (Hey Oh) // Soft Rock, Acoustic
Who Wants To Live Forever // Queen // A Kind of Magic // Power Ballad, Soft Rock
I suggest you listen to…
For a influential playlist: Damage Inc and Orion. Both of these songs are part of the album that revolutionized heavy and thrash metal forever.

Connecting to database, retrieving from database, etc. That's not just PHP, though; that's (usually) MySQL.I know the basics of PHP, however, the whole DATABASE part confuzzles me -_-I feel your pain. I don't think so.Oh, that part of it. Are you using mysqli? I find that to be much better than the default deprecated version.Connecting to database, retrieving from database, etc. That's not just PHP, though; that's (usually) MySQL.I know the basics of PHP, however, the whole DATABASE part confuzzles me -_-I feel your pain.
