who is @html?
Someone told me that I was somehow following @html, I didn't know who @html is, So when I went to @html, it took me to a 403 Page. Now I've spent my time figuring out why this happened, I tried searching the internet, to see if anyone else has figured out what this user is, and it just seems like I hit to a dead end.
So is anyone here gonna explain what this mysterious user is?
And why does it take me to a 403 page when I try to access it?

I think the username messes with the link or something like that.
and how would it do that?
HTML is a programming language that is used to code basically every webpage on the internet. the name @html probably messes with filesystems or creates an error.
and also, another question…
Why couldn't it use the 403 page?
Some pages don't redirect to the 403 page even though they are 403s.

That makes sense… but..
how was I able to follow @html? I can't remember when I followed them and how I did!

All scratch.mit.edu URLs ending in “html”—like scratch.mit.edu/users/html or scratch.mit.edu/index.html—seem to make a 403 error, except just plain scratch.mit.edu/html (404), unless the stuff between “scratch.mit.edu/” and “html” contains broken code (400; scratch.mit.edu/%E5html, scratch.mit.edu/%ED%A0%80html).

https://scratch.mit.edu/so_I_can_do_something_like_this?_____html
It takes me to a 403 page.
So no matter what I put, it gets very weird and takes you to a 403 page
https://scratch.mit.edu/<text>html

“hmtl” is not html.
It isn't the same. the tm is swapped. So it doesn't count.

https://scratch.mit.edu/?.html takes you to the home page! The Internet interprets URLs with ? in them as ending just before the ?, so the text after the ? describes additional information about the page that one is trying to access. Hold up.
For example, https://scratch.mit.edu/users/griffpatch/followers/?page=4000 tells scratch.mit.edu to find the page “/users/griffpatch/followers/”, remember that that is the list for @griffpatch's followers, then find the 4000th page, and send it securely (https).
https://scratch.mit.edu/?.html tells scratch.mit.edu to find the page “/”, remember that that is the front page, then find the normal document because ".html" was not meaningful, and send it securely.
https://www.google.com/search?q=scratch tells www.google.com to find the page “/search”, remember that that is the search results page, then find the search results for the query "scratch", and sent it securely.

To get the page “/?.html”, one would navigate to scratch.mit.edu/%2F.html

I feel amazed by this tbh.
Honestly, I'm expecting a lot of people going on my profile and telling me how I followed html, lol
One day, that will happen. Just one day.
Ya know, I'm cool with this.

it's just a username that messes with the url, try doing it with and without a / at the end to get two different results
with the / (gives you the regular 403 page), and without the / (gives you the “forbidden” error)
with the / (gives you the regular 403 page), and without the / (gives you the “forbidden” error)
I choose these Links for a specific reason, if you're a Zelda fan then you might know why
you can not stop me from putting Oshawott in my siggy
