Hey, can we have “convert to vector” and “convert to bitmap” blocks? It would make things so much easier on people like me who make animations.
convert to vector
convert to bitmap

I know, I just think it would be much easier to edit costumes using blocks. This wouldn't really make sense as a block as there's no way to edit costumes using blocks.

Well, what blocks would you edit costumes with?I know, I just think it would be much easier to edit costumes using blocks. This wouldn't really make sense as a block as there's no way to edit costumes using blocks.
The “looks” blocks.

I don't support. You can easily go inside a project and click the Bitmap or Vector button thingy. And it would confuse Scratchers
I love: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Alice in Wonderland/Alice Through the Looking Glass, cats, Boba Fett, and A Seires of Unfortunate Events!!!
I hate: bullying, false reporting, hate, Obi-Wan and Han Solo, and huskies
I'm: female, weird, and VERY crazy (and Boba Fett's biggest fan)

Code and costumes need to be static while the project is running. No, I'm not counting the “show” and “hide” blocks and that stuff, but stuff like your suggestion.
Here's the thing, Scratch doesn't revert stuff when you stop the project. Roblox Studio does, however. So, if you accidentally pressed that button on the palette, then quickly went to the Costumes tab to revert it..
THE UNDO BUTTON IS DISABLED!!
All your Vector work is now a “no-anti-aliasing” bitmap art, and it would be sad if anyone experienced that.
Sure, you can turn it to Vector using that button, but you can't work on it anymore:
Therefore, no support.

Sure, you can turn it to Vector using that button, but you can't work on it anymore:
- the whole costume is cropped to the stage, so your background work was lost
- the whole costume is grouped, so you can't organize it
- you can't erase a part, fill a part, etc. of the costume
- it's still bitmap
Therefore, no support.
socialix - why is there a penguin breaking my window? - signatures are overrated

Um, the purple ones. Here are some examples:
say [] for (2) secs
say []
think [] for (2) secs
think []
show
hide
switch costume to [ v]
next costume
switch backdrop to [ v]
switch backdrop to [ v] and wait
next backdrop
change [ v] effect by (25)
set [ v] effect to (0)
clear graphic effects
change size by ()
set size to () %
go to front
go back () layers

well, technically the vector images on the stage are bitmap so yeah, doesn't make sense,
I choose these Links for a specific reason, if you're a Zelda fan then you might know why
you can not stop me from putting Oshawott in my siggy

Scratch doesn't have dynamic costume manipulation, and honestly I don't think it should. Even if these kinds of features were to be added, these are probably the last blocks I would want from something like that.
Why do so many people not like my ideas?

Tbh, while doing this would be nice, its just not neccesary. The only reason this would be useful is if there was a sprite making thing, then I guess, but, u know?

You don't edit images with blocks, the closest with have are the effect blocks, and the size block(and pen, but not really as much):
you can read more about it on Block Plugin
.
change [ v] effect by (25)btw, the way that you make your blocks look like looks blocks is:
set [ v] effect to (0)
set size to () %
pen down
::looks
.

/hj is the worst tone indicator. It's confusing and ambiguous. I hate it. The point of tone indicators is to indicate tone, or the way that a piece of text should be read, but what does “half joking” mean? Do you just wake up in the morning and think “wow, I really have something I want to talk about seriously but also kinda not, IDK you decide.” It's useless. I hate it. It just provokes a deep rooted anger within me whenever I see it. People just comment /hj as if it makes any sense. It doesn't. Oh wow, it's a tone indicator that's has a relative meaning, how useful, I'll use it in every comment I post. NO. STOP IT. You're a tone indicator, you have only one job, and yet you sit there doing nothing apart angering me.
/srs
^^^ (there's more below)
This one is useful because it tells you that this signature is fully 100% serious. (/srs) Who would've thought that tone indicators needed to tell you something about the piece of text they're attached to? /s
I'm serious, I'm not even going to put multiple (/hj)s a the end of my signature as to mock the previous paragraph for not getting the point of something(like previous version of my signature). /srs

convert to [ bitmap]
