I'm just curious over here about whether this is a glitch or something I said was wrong, but I was chatting with a friend here on Scratch (on my regular account…) and got muted for a day (it's literally 12:30 AM, so no chatting alll day : //) for typing, ‘OH!! SORRY OMg my memory is horrible!! and not a problem !!!?’, along with various different versions, such as removing ‘OMg’ or changing ‘np’ to ‘not a problem’. I tried to send her these various different messages, all meaning the same thing, and after reloading the page and typing it once more I was chat-muted, the message saying, ‘Hmm, the filterbot is pretty sure your recent comments weren’t ok for Scratch, so your account has been muted for the rest of the day. : /'. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but this comes across as really condescending and rude?? like, saying 'your account has been muted for the rest of the day. : /' is kind of really unproffesional… >: /
i'm sorry if i'm just ranting, but this literally ticks me off. i'm nearly done with scratch. if i had to suggest anything, maybe alter the blacklisted words (if I said any??) or change the filter in some way ;;

also, i was replying to her comment which said, ‘Haha okie thanks<33 I feel honoured<3 You typed on my profile aha-’

It might have been the “my memory is horrible” bit. The filter bot may have mistaken it for an insult. Keep im mind that the filter bot is not as smart as a human moderator, and that it can frequently make mistakes.

I'm confused… I literally posted something yesterday and now it's gone without any explanation or alert. I barely did anything wrong! Maybe it was that part at the very end of the post..

This is not my original account that I always use because of flitter bot. I already sent a gmail to scratch and now sending One here because HOW IT'S ALMOST DAILY THAT I GET MUTED! I asked that you guys please fix because its getting annoying and I know that I am not the only one who gets muted. I get muted because of Role Play,I get muted because i write a comment to someone to thank them, I get MUTED JUST FOR ANYTHING i WRITE ON SCRATCH. And then there are people who just write horrible things but your flitter bot can't mute them. I HAD ENOUGH OF THAT ANNOYING FLITTER BOT! YOU EITHER FIX FLITTER BOT OR GET RID OF IT. Everyone is getting tired of it and I will speak for my fellow scratcher friends that I made IN roleplay and through the projects we all make. PLEASE FIX IT OR GET RID OF IT PLEASE!

I'm not sure why but this doesn't seem to affect me at all… but yes, the filterbot does need a serious debugging. You can actually say some words in the comments that are generally considered offensive that need to be fixed.

Tell me how when I said, “what now?” on a rp, it muted me! I've never said anything mean today! And it didn't have a single warning today, it just blocked me at that instant!

I so agree!

I'm sorry if this offends you, plz don't ban me, but I really want to speak the truth. The filterbot is not just a non-human knowledge computer, but a big annoyance to the people that use and have been muted by it. I understand that it's not a know-it-all, but it does mute some of the safest, most commonly used words, and if that is supposed to happen, it should know better. Please try your best to fix this, take as long as you need to. It will really bring more peace to mind for people on scratch. If you would gladly unmute these people that know and you know that haven't brung any harm to scratch, it would be an honor! I hope you recive this message

This same problem happened to one of my accounts. I was trying to write something like “The ST might remove this studio by this part of the descruption: blah blah blah I don't wanna write this because I could get banned” (I didn't actually write the description part). And then I tried to fix it, THEN I just tried to write Hello and it said it's bad AND THEN I try to type Hi and I get muted. The filterbot MUST be fixed!
