I'm guessing you're using cloud variables?

If so, all you need to do is use the [ change variable by 1] block, but you say that's not working. Could you show us your project? c:

Edit: I see; you haven't used cloud variables. You need to change all of your variables into cloud ones (which will save even after you leave the project). To create a cloud variable, it's like making a normal variable, but you tick the box “Cloud variable (stored on server)”.

This would go in the Help With Scripts forum.

Also, are you using cloud data for your voting?

When you make a variable, there's a box you can click on that will enable the variable to be saved on the server. What that means is every change you make to the variable will be saved, even when the project isn't being edited. That way, when you return to the project page, your cloud data will have the same value as when you left it, rather than resetting to 0.
