Right-clicking to change blocks removed in 3.0, please add it back in.
I think that's just an example. Fundamentally, I think both of these threads are asking for the same change. (Unless you only want this feature for operator blocks, for some reason?) I'll merge them.from what I see it seems that they are asking for Right-clicking booleans, and I'm doing operators, they do mention operators, but specifically say booleans. Duplicate

In response to Harakou, yeah, it was just an example. If functionality was added for changing even more types of blocks with right-click than we could in 2.0, that would be even more useful. For another example, converting an “if-then” bracket into a “if-else” double bracket by right-clicking would be extremely effective as well. I've had many occasions where I was coding on the fly and realized that my code would be more efficient if it was placed in an “if-else” double bracket, and then I have to disassemble and reassemble a lot of code.

I support this. I did not use it in 2.0 but I only had my alternate account for school then, and didn't make any harder then starter games. I feel this would be very helpful to have back.
EDIT one year, one month later: It's weird seeing one of the first posts I ever made. I also feel like I should expand on this, so I'll do that.
This would be a great feature to add back. If you are making a project that uses a lot of math, it is very annoying to have to keep dragging blocks into the editor, especially if you could duplicate it and you would only need to change the operation. I don't know why they removed this or if it was even intentionally removed or they just didn't put it in 3.0 for some reason, either way this needs to come back.

This was a feature in 2.0, but was overlooked in 3.0. I was so used to this, that I sometimes right click operator blocks in 3.0, expecting a list of options to show up. This works for variables, so why not add them to the ones in the operator category? By re-adding it, it can, even slightly, improve the time it would take to code projects.

FULL SUPPORT!!! I didn't really use Scratch 2.0 too much, and I didn't use operators back then either, but recently I used the 2.0 offline editor and used this feature SO MANY TIMES. I wish we could use this again since it saves a lot of time. I couldn't support more.

I like this idea, I like it a lot, because then when I accidentally misorder something using the > or < blocks, it is faster to clean up. But why not just make it a dropdown?

I never knew this existed but that would be very helpful for me because I always sometimes choose the wrong operator, and I have to:
1. Remove everything i'd put in it.
2. Switch it out for the right one.
3. Put everything back the way it was, but in the new operator.
It isn't a whole lot more time, but it would be helpful. Support!

Hello, I am a coder who likes to experiment and create things on Scratch! I don't release projects that much lately because I have many big projects I'm working on. If you like you can come check out my released projects by clicking my profile picture at the top left of this post. I don't look to get famous on Scratch, but it feels good when people see my projects. Well, see you next post!

Full support. I used the 2.0 offline editor for my first project (I had no idea that 3.0 existed a the time), and it was so helpful. I think swapping opposite blocks would be really helpful too. Here's a list of swappable blocks:
To sum it up, you can swap between all the opposite blocks.
turn cw () degreesand
turn ccw () degrees,
change x by ()And
change y by (),
set x to ()And
set y to (),
(x position)And
(y position),
showAnd

(mouse y),
(() + (0))And

(() * (0))And
(() / (0)),
<[] < []>And
<[] > []>,
show variable [ v]And
hide variable [ v],
show list [ v]And
hide list [ v].

Turning the blocks into drop-downs would be great alternative, since most scratchers probably never knew this existed. It was essentially a secret feature. I totally know how you feel with the removal– I started a duplicate of this yesterday.
