Actually for some reason on the forums text in brackets doesn’t show up unless you’re quoting the post

However i think I know why it’s blocked, it has to do with spambots.

Since 1-800 is how a lot of spam phone numbers begin with, if Scratch is getting a lot of spam users talking about 1-800 phone numbers they temporarily blacklist the number. After awhile it’s allowed again.

It’s used to prevent spamming.

You may have to click ctrl + a, then ctrl + x, then paste it, then delete the extra wording, otherwise the trick won't work.

It’d be nice if they had other messages that showed up when blocking comments, such as “this comment contains a symbol that is blocked due to it being used for spamming” rather than saying it’s disrespectful, since it can get confusing saying it’s “disrespectful” when it’s just a harmless ASCII art.

OK so when I create a new block sometimes it says “hey buddy i'm not going to use the code u put inside of me hehe”, but when I do it MANUALLY it works just fine it was in my (not yet released) neural network.

I found a project where someone said they couldn't say “diaper” or “useless”, but I tested it out on my profile and it seems like I could say it. Is it only for New Scratchers?

I know that the word Discord is blocked due to being an unmoderated chat site, however Discord is also an actual word + the name of a (very popular) MLP character. Is it possible that the filter could be a little less strict regarding this word? Since it could be very confusing to MLP a fans talking about the show who don’t know that Discord is also a chat site.

Discord is also the name of a song that’s *really* catchy (and is also a MLP song) and if someone were to be including it in their project,t hey wouldn’t be able to credit the song in the description since they couldn’t say the word!

Or, block out anything with the full Discord URL or “discord server”
