im not defending waluigi in smash because people have already been so obnoxious about it that I don't really want him in the game anymore (or at least as dlc) but im pretty sure they just said no character that are already represented in the game, not franchises

Okay, so as you may have heard, the Nintendo YouTuber Etika, or Desmond has passed away. He was the person who got me into, not only YouTube, but Super Smash Bros as a whole. I’m crying. He needed help, but he was being pushed by some of his “friends” to keep making content. He shouldn’t have died. But those “friends” got him to commit suicide. He went to an asylum. But only for a day. He should’ve been in there for at least 2 months minimum. Don’t talk about Etika and The JoyConBoyz, talk about Desmond, talk about Desmond’s story. If you are suicidal, get help. Someone is going to want that. Talk about it. Don’t keep it deep inside, be open about it. If your “friends” are saying that you don’t need help, you don’t just need help, you need less * in your life. I know this is barely Smash related, but I had to pour my heart out for one of my favourite creators. We will miss you, Desmond.

Most of my friends watched him, so I feel sad for them. Nobody should do that. They should think about how sad their friends will be, like how sad Etika’s friends and fans were.
In honor of him, how about we all play as Ridley for the rest of the week, because he was a Ridley main.

I only knew Desmond/Etika through the memes, but he seemed like a nice guy. May he rest in peace.
