Well, it hasn't even been a day yet. I know that topics in the Advanced Topics forum are more likely to gain popularity. Also, the link that you posted is for another topic(that I originally posted in the Advanced Topics forum which I wanted to gain popularity) that ended up in the TIMAC forum and barely gained any popularity. Here it is.

probably not. however most topics do get quite a few hits, and then you get a really low hit:post ratio.

take this thread for example, it has close to 1k hits and only 71 posts (about 15-20 are actually discussion, the rest are bumps)
