Lego Wedo Extention in Offline editor 2.0

For years at my school and I'm sure Schools around the world have been using Scratch 1.4 For education alongside Lego wedo. I really want to see the Lego wedo extension added to Offline editor 2.0. I really need help so the scratch team can see this and consider it. Thanks so much. -HassilBack

@HassilBack has a great point here. 1.4 is outdated, yet it has the lego we do extensions. Many schools use 1.4, but I think that many people would learn a lot better using scratch 2 because it has more tools. If children are introduced to the learning environment of scratch 2, rather than 1.4, they will learn to use the new tools presented in it. For example, many schools start teaching kids to use scratch through Lego we-do on 1.4. When kids pass that and they want to make projects that need more power and new blocks, then they need to move on to scratch 2. The new orientation confuses younger kids and they are restrained from their full potential. If we introduce we-do in a new Scratch 2.1, then these kids will be introduced to scratch 2.

Sorry if it was a little lengthy.

I'm sorry, but when I was introduced to Scratch in 1.4, I never heard of this. Although I did work with LEGO Mindstorms, it was not related to Scratch. If you feel like it, you can inform me about it, but I also think that LEGO WeDo was restrained from 2.0 because of all the adjustments still being put into it. If this were to happen, they may just have to make a browser that separately works on this~ Maybe LEGO WeDo 2.0
