Section 1: Shop Rights
1.1 From the moment a shop is admitted it is a full member of the SSSU and are entitled to all the rights of a shop.
1.2 Each shop is entitled to one representative.
1.2.1 Representatives are determined by the shop they represent.
1.2.2 Representatives are members and must be treated as such.
1.2.3 In the SSSU any actions of the representative are treated as actions of the shop as a whole.
1.2.4 The owner of the shop overrides the representative.
1.3 Each shop is entitled to the respect it deserves.
1.4 Each shop will be treated equally and will not be inferior to any other shop, no matter the size, services provided, or any other factor.
1.5 No shop may be permanently banned from the SSSU.
1.6 A shop may leave at any time, no matter the circumstances.
1.7 A shop may pass on orders it cannot complete through the SSSU.
1.8 A shop may take another shop's incomplete orders through the SSSU provided they have been rendered incompletable by that shop.
1.9 A shop may turn away an employee that has been recommended to it.
1.10 A Shop can expect not to have its reputation ruined by the SSSU nor by any of its members.
1.11 Shops may call into review any term, position or otherwise dictating condition of the SSSU
1.12 A shop that is a part of the SSSU is a member of the SSSU and has all the rights of a member.

Section 2: Shop Laws
2.1 From the moment a shop is admitted it must comply with all the terms.
2.2 Shops must respect all other Scratchers and treat them as a human being.
2.3 Shops must respect and obey the words of the Head, Vice-Head, President, Vice-President and moderators.
2.4 Shops must not act against the SSSU in order to ruin its reputation.
2.5 Shops must not act against fellow members in order to ruin their reputation.
2.6 Shops must remain courteous and respectful whilst on this thread.
2.7 Shops must include the keyword BONJOUR in their application.
2.8 Shops must remain active or risk losing their membership.
2.8.1 The shop representative or the shop owner must reply to activity checks on behalf of the shop.
2.8.1 Shops will get a demerit for not replying.
2.9 The SSSU is entitled to check the thread of the shop and to use any of its material in advertisements, posts etc.
2.10 If you do not accept these terms, do not apply. Any problems may be discussed with the SSSU to reach an agreement.

Section 3: Member Rights
3.1 From the moment a member is admitted they are a full member of the SSSU and are entitled to all the rights of a member.
3.2 Every member is entitled to be treated with respect.
3.3 Every member will be treated equally and will not be inferior to any other member.
3.4 No member may be permanently banned from the SSSU.

4.8 Members must remain active or risk losing their membership.

4.8.3 All members of the Head Department will be treated as above.
4.8.4 If the Head of SSSU falls inactive then the Vice-Head will take over temporarily.
4.8.4.a If the Head of SSSU is proven to be incapable of leading the SSSU any longer, the Vice-Head will run an election in which people will vote for who shall be the new Head of SSSU.
4.8.4.b The Vice-Head and moderators will remain the same unless the new Head chooses to remove them.
4.8.4.c The President and Vice-President will remain the same.
4.8.5 If the President is inactive the Vice-President will temporarily take over the position.
4.8.5.a If the President is inactive for longer than a week then an election will be held for President and Vice-President.
4.9 If you do not accept these terms, do not apply. Any problems may be discussed with the SSSU to reach an agreement.

Section 5: Position Powers
5.1 Every position is different.
5.2 No one person may take more than one position as a member.
5.2.1 The only exception to this is that a member may be a representative of a shop and in the Head Department.
5.3 No position is inferior to another.
5.4 These are the terms of a non-shop member.
5.4.1 The powers of a non-shop member are the same as that of any member.
5.4.2 A non-shop member may not be affiliated with any shop that is already a part of the SSSU.
5.5 These are the terms of a shop monitor.
5.5.1 A shop monitor will be assigned atleast one shop.
5.5.2 They will be required to check that shop's thread at least once a week.
5.5.3 They will be required to report about that shop.
5.5.3.a They must report any major changes or updates including changing of ownership and name.
5.5.3.b They must report the breakage of any of the laws of the SSSU.
5.5.3.c They must, with the permission of the shop, pass on orders that have been confirmed uncompletable by the shop.
5.6 These are the terms of the thread monitors.
5.6.1 The thread monitors may accept applications of any kind.
5.6.2 The thread monitors may remove members of any kind not in the Head Department.
5.6.3 The thread monitors may give members demerits for breaking the laws of the SSSU.
5.7 These are the terms of a President or Vice-President.
5.7.1 A President and Vice-President are equal in power.
5.7.2 A President may remove their Vice-President.
5.7.3 Both may accept or deny all applications.
5.7.4 Both may remove members of any kind except the Head and Vice-Head.
5.7.5 Both may give points or demerits to members for any reason.
5.8 These are the terms of the Head and Vice-Head.
5.8.1 A Head and Vice-Head are equal in power.
5.8.2 A Head may remove their Vice-Head.
5.8.3 Both have complete power over the SSSU.
5.8.4 The word of the Head or Vice-Head is law.

Section 6: Credit System
6.1 A system shall be in place where members will receive credits or demerits as a result of their action.
6.2 Every member is a part of the credit system.
6.3 At -5 credits a member is fired.
6.3 Demerits are the removal of credits.
6.3.1 Demerits may be given to members because of rule breaking.
6.3.2 Demerits may be given for inactivity.
6.4 Members of the Head Department may give demerits or credits.
6.5 Credits may be awarded for constant activity, or certain rewardable actions.

Section 7: Inactivity
7.1 All members must remain active and respond to activity checks.
7.2 Leave can be given for as long as the member likes.
7.2.1 Notice must be given for leave.
7.2.2 Whilst a member is on leave they will still be treated as a full member.
7.2.3 For long leave members may be replaced temporarily.

Section 8: Term Laws
8.1 Terms may change at any time no matter the circumstances and changes must be upheld.
8.1.1 The Head and Vice-Head may change terms at any time with no notice.
8.2 Terms must be reasonable and fair.
8.2.1 Terms must not restrict the rights of any person in an unfair way.
8.2.2 Terms must be made to treat all people equally.
8.2.3 Terms must not be unnecessary or for other reasons other than to keep order.
8.3 Any member of the SSSU may raise a concern with any term.
8.4 Any member may submit a proposal for a new term or for the change of a term.
8.4.1 Proposals require the complete approval of the Head Department before being voted on by members.
8.4.2 Passed proposals will take place immediately after being passed.
