Scratch 3.0 is going in the wrong direction

How would this be harder than the switch to 2? I still think 1.4 has advantages over 2.

The goal of scratch 3.0 is so scratch can compete with tynker, code.org and other more popular block-based programming sites for kids, it's already much faster so they don't really care.

Not to mention the god-awful sound GUI. They try to cram an entire sound into one screen, making it very difficult to work with, AND they took away the cursor that allows you to highlight sections. Meaning you have to duplicate multiple of the same file just to get an edited version.

It also sucks that all your stuff is lost if you're not online before the update happens, so your backpack is basically lost

Oh yeah, and it crashes when I try to put something in my backpack when there is already an item. “Metal crusher” from the undertale OST saved just fine, but other things won't. Corrupted audio? Maybe. IDK. Hopefully it'll be fixed in like a week or so.
