READ IF YOU WANT A MICRONATION :P How to create a Micronation! :P (Written by Kidonia citizen Paws)

Welcome!

So, let's say you want to create a Micronation. There are plenty of tutorials, but to my knowledge this is the best one. For now. I have contributed to that article many times, and I have decided that it's better off for me to just make my own topic as the article is practically filled with my questions and answers.

So here we are!

1-Getting Started
This is definitely the most important part of starting any Micronation obviously. The first step is to find the reason you want a Micronation in the first place. Maybe you don't like the current president, queen, e.t.c. of your country, maybe the intolerance of the people in your country, or maybe you just think some laws are kind of ridiculous. Whatever the case, there is always going to be something you don't like in your country. You're also gonna want a name, but the name can be anything you want.

2-Finding a population.
There's not really much I can say about this one, because everyone's experiences are different. All you really need to do is find some like-minded people. Which is easier said than done. Remember: A population does not just mean people that live in your Micronation. It would be pretty hard for you to get your best friend to live with you.

3-Establishing laws/a constitution.
Laws and rights are some of the more important steps when creating your Micronation. And you can pretty much do anything with laws as long as you're not going overboard or including too little. Kidonia doesn't have any laws, so we don't have a lot of experience with this. A constitution is probably better. You can have a country without laws, but you still need a constitution. A constitution (for those who don't know) is pretty much what you stand for in your country. Again, not a lot I can say about this, because it's completely up to you. You can make it as shot or as long as you want.

4-Finding a leader.
Whether you like it or not, your country will have to have some form of leader. Whether that be a president or a princess, it's completely up to you. Most people like to start out as president of their Micronation (they created it after all), but beware! If you don't have elections, your citizens will likely get upset. A good rule of thumb is every season, and that's how the elections are currently run in Kidonia.

5-Finding your land.
Technically, your land can be the size of a quarter. But most prefer more than that. Some areas to avoid are popular public places such as beaches or parks, and dangerous or illegal areas to enter such as an abandoned house.

(optional) 7-Creating Your Army
As stated, this step is optional. Unless you have a rival Micronation, I doubt you would ever need an army. But it's nice to have. There's really no rules to making an army like most things in this topic. But do NOT use any dangerous weapons. The MOST DANGEROUS THING YOU CAN USE IS A NERF GUN!!!!!!!

8-Customising Your Micronation
I know, weird name for the step, but I couldn't think of anything else. Basically what I mean is your flag and your anthem and stuff. While it's best to keep your flag simple, you can make your flag as complicated as you want. Your anthem song could be written yourself, but it might be a better idea to use some classical music. You can also do stuff like your mascot, but it's really not neccicary to have anything except the anthem and the flag.

Thank you for reading the whole thing!
Updates: We are open to allies if you wish!

Please suggest some tips and I'll add them below!

We are Kidonia! We're trying to make a stand about child rights. This might not seem like an issue, but how in any way does it make sense that an
HIGHLY immature 18 year old has more rights than a HIGHLY mature child? It doesn't make any sense! Children could change the world just as much as adults, and we're trying to prove that. Now, of course we're not talking about 5 year olds, but a maturity test should really be necessary to determine whether someone is mentally fit to have adult rights or not.

that was a bit much for a signature, wasn't it?
