See, I don't agree here. BK's example is something that you'd see from streamers and people downloading files - and yes, that's true to some degree - however, some things (such as loading basic web pages) can be throttled down slightly. Similarly, malicious traffic can be utterly blocked now, which is good.

Yeah, didn't see that one coming. I try not to get bent out of shape about NN, after all, this generation is really entitled. Once service providers start being ‘mean’, they'll just whine and whine and whine, and the company would save more money not being jerks than dealing with whiny brats.

not really, if they abuse consumers, they just get the cities to seize the networks. It's not like the cable companies put their cable on their property. It's on yours and the city's, making it fair game for imminent domain.
