Can we make a feature like when someone says Duplicate on a topic the ST is automatically notified about the duplicate then if it is a Dup then the topic gets closed by the ST/moderator

This is how it works

Type in Duplicate of Dup on a topic then once posted, a report about the topic is automatically sent to the ST

There I have now spammed the ST with reports of this topic being a duplicate. Hey let's talk about duplicates. What are they someone may ask. Or I know there is a glitch in Pokemon emerald that allows you to duplicate your pokemon! Kirby can also duplicate his foe's abilities. Also did I forget to mention you can right click to duplicate scripts by right clicking.
The above shows many ways this can be abused or used by accident.

Using report seems simple enough to me

No support, it just seems a little unorthodox to me.

Yep. NO SUPPORT because someone could spam it like: Dup x50 times

No support. It's fine the way it already is, and someone can spam writing “dup” x45 times.

No support as it can be spammed and it's just easier to use the report button. Also, what if someone is just trying to talk about duplicates in general (e.g: someone in Questions About Scratch asking what one is) or if someone says dup within a word (e.g: Avoirdupois, Duplexities, Duplicating, Duplication, Duplicative, Duplicators, Duplicities, Duplicitous, Reduplicate, Duplicated, Duplicates, Duplicator, Duplexers, Duplexing, Duplexity, Duplicate, Duplicity, Buildups, Duperies, Duplexed, Duplexer, Duplexes, Roundups, Speedups, Standups, Buildup, Dupable, Dupping, Foldups, Holdups, Roundup, Sendups, Speedup, Standup, Windups,Dupers, Dupery, Duping, Duplex, Dupped, Foldup, Holdup, Sendup, Windup, Duped, Duper, Dupes, Duple,

I believe you are supposed to report a topic if it's a duplicate but most people don't

Using the report system wouldn't require adding an entirely new feature
