GitHub has a really nice client, so you can set up a repo and have the GitHub client open while modifying the code and see your diffs, push data, stuff like that, as well as being able to do basic repository commands like rollback, and it also comes with a Git shell if you want to do something more advanced. Plus, Git has always had the epic advantage of branching, merges, collaborators, etc.
