2. I kinda like the idea of cross-platform gaming, but the fact that the PS4 is not getting it is wrong. Come on, PS4 users don't want to buy a new console just to play with cross-platforming! SONY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
3. I've also seen some things about some platforms getting no more updates after the Better Together update (quoting ibxtoycat on this one). I really don't like that. Just because a console is old, doesn't mean they have to discontinue that version!

So, yeah. I'm a PE player, but I'm worried about this because I'm going to be very confused about what console to get if I ever want one. Besides, don't the new birch wood textures look really bad?

Sony seems to think that cross platform play will make their users switch to the xbox one or nintendo switch, even though a lack of cross platform play might cause that exact same thing.

they are not discontinuing the xbox 360 version (the only one mentioned), they are only discontinuing the xbox one and switch, they will update the xbox 360 version as long as xbox 360 games can be updated. But still, i like the current console version better.

well, online subscriptions will be required on consoles (which ironically means that it's the worst to play on Microsoft's console despite Microsoft owning the game) so consoles are worse to play on ()

…explains my opinion on why I don't like the update. Also, I mentioned that I didn't really like the new birch textures.

EDIT: I am stupid. I said Windows 10 and Pocket Edition instead of PC. Whoops!

The birch textures do look reasonable for survival, but not necessarily in a design sense, to me.

TNT explodes, but it lacks the ability to destroy blocks in water (if the detonation site is inside water.) It still deals damage to entities, however.

I am a big fan of IBXtoycat I agree with him that the diamond block textures will be horrible and I do NOT want minigames leaving I would rather minigames be playable on mobile devices and windows 10 instead of them leaving Xbox One/Switch. I also hate BOTH of the new obsidian textures, I don't want the logs to be changed to look smooth, and, well, WHY CAN'T WE JUST KEEP THE OLD TEXTURES???????? Oh and yeah I agree with whoever said that structures made out of diamond blocks are ugly. Every time my sister attempts makes a gigantic diamond mansion, not only is it ugly, but everything around it gets infected with its ugliness. One time in my uncle's realm, I had an awesome wooden fortress type house thingy and then my sister made it look ugly by building a giant diamond mansion beside it. I got really mad and my parents were making me deal with it, so I built a really ugly bedrock and sponge bridge through her house and then my parents made me take it down. At least a day later, I spent the night at my grandmother's house and I joined the realm when no one was in it and I built a huge cobblestone wall around my house and her dirt pile and then claimed all the land inside the walls. Then, when my uncle switched the realm to a survival realm, I would start taxing my sister to live inside my walls. I would make her pay diamond blocks and then when she ran out of diamond blocks she would have to pay me with the diamond blocks from her house. Slowly, her house would go away. Then she would be forced out of the walls because she wouldn't be able to pay her taxes.That was my plan. Now I don't know what happened because I was at my grandmothers house, but my sister was ordered to take down her house, and I'm guessing our father saw what she had done. Then my sister invited me to help her blow up her house. But yeah, I don't want any major texture changes in Better Together. Man, you really bothered to read all this?
