So as you may know, something called “necroposting” is when someone posts something on a topic that is really really old and hasn't been replied to for a long time. I was wondering if we could implement a date of topic creation next to the name (The first post anyways). That way it'd be easier to find necroposts. Example:

Yes! I have seen so many active and good forumers necropost on a bumped old topic simply since they didn't know it was old.

It would also be helpful for things besides necroposts, and doesn't really have a downside.

Yes, I think this would be a nice suggestion. I'd like for necroposts to be found easier, especially if it makes it easier for closure by the Scratch Team instead of having to wait for a report to come in.

I agree, and think we should implant this, but at the same time, we should emphasize the fact that posting on older topics is not always bad, ex: in the suggestions forum, if it is still relevant.
Many scratchers are trying to help out in the forums, and if we made it easy for them to find it, they might just start to post “don't nercropost” on any older topic on the front page.

This would be a lot more effective in stopping necroposts.

Support - it isn't distracting but it is helpful. While the last post already has a date, also having the OP's date is just nice to have.
