ABOUT THE SCRATCH WINTER CUP

The Scratch Winter Cup was an idea, and event, to further connect the entire community of Scratch together, regardless of interests, similar or different.

^That's the fancy way of explaining it.

Want the fun way?

A bunch of Scratchers got together, made wacky, crazy hockey teams, and said hockey teams battled it out via a simulation, NHL 14, a video game, to see which team came out on top and won the Scratch Winter Cup!

Best part about this? You didn't need to know anything about hockey! Honest!

Your team could have been called anything you want, and the same went for your players and even the stadium! You could take the game as jokingly or as seriously as you wanted! It was all in good fun!

Bump, but also, we may move the simulation over from NHL 2K10 to NHL 2K8.

NHL 2K8 also allows teams to name their arenas, so more hilarity could ensue when people watching the game realize it's being played at LitterboxCentre or International House of Pancakes or something.

the amount of people wanting to participate might be limited by a lack of people with the game. i feel like it could have worked better to work out if people could do it, before making it all professional and stuff. it could still work though.

Having someone make a simulation of the game would be better. Then everyone could access it.

Ah, sorry I didn't make it clear before, my bad haha.

I will take submissions for teams, put them into my copy of NHL 2K8, and we will simulate it.

The games will be simulated. :D

We plan on having 4 Pools, all including 5 teams each.

Also, IDK if you can customise numbers, but if you can, the player's number's will be on the wiki. So check that

Hey! Guess what! I added numbers, and more players (for sitting on the bench and rotating, as a real hockey team would). Also, changed the wiki page a little bit.

Haha, I checked the page, and the bio for the team is awesome!

I'll be sure to update the player numbers and maybe even add in those extra players for you. The original plan was to just have 5 players on the ice the whole game, but who knows?
