Diamond rain mod, gold and iron rain mod, enchantment table mod, (from before enchanting was added), lapis armour and tools mod, herobrine mod, tons of cool mods.

You know, I think one of the developers said they were planning on doing more work on MCPE than PC. Plus, MCPE has more sells than PC.

You need a mod for controller though, and a keyboard fits a game like this anyway.

One word and one feature. OptiFine, and speed.

In case if anyone reading this is new or haven't discovered it, playing on multiplayer or singleplayer may become laggy at some times. OptiFine is an option to those suffering on Macs or below the 30FPS range (use f3 to see your FPS, or frames-per-second.)

At first, installing OptiFine might increase your FPS, but most of the time it doesn't. But that is not it. Simply go to Video Settings and there is now an extended list of options for you to modify. I recommend changing the “Fast/Fancy/Off” settings to “Fast”, and activating most of the alternate rendering and “Smooth FPS” on, but some things like Shaders, Alternate Textures, etc., you don't want to touch - unless you're experienced of course.

After enabling and messing around with such Video Settings, you may notice your FPS jumping up to 100+ if you're lucky, 200+ if excellent, or possibly lower 300+. Of course, this depends on your computer, and if you have a fast computer, it'll be extremely easy to get higher FPS.

Yet again, this is an optional mod (which is allowed on many servers) that only improves lag and adds small changes (like lightsources becoming hand-held objects and Creepers igniting), and you may not need it, but if you do, it's an excellent boost!
