How do featured projects get picked?
(I already know they are picked by the Scratch Team but how?)
I am wondering because my project has more likes than some of the past featured projects.
So how do you get noticed by the Scratch Team? (Don't say that it depends or that everyone gets noticed by the Scratch Team or anything like that because I know that isn't true.)
My project is in the “Top Loved” section but nobody in the Scratch Team seems to care. I have asked on Scratch Team member for feedback and all they said was “Good job on top loved.” They didn't even comment or love it my project or give me feedback which kind of tells me that they don't really care about my project. I am not trying to be rude but I worked really hard on that project and I don't think the Scratch Team gets that.
(Don't say that they have noticed me or that they care because they haven't cared and that is honestly how I feel)
Also I am not asking why my project isn't featured yet because I know that that can take time but here is what I am asking:

1. How do featured projects get picked?
2. How come the Scratch Team doesn't even acknowledge or appreciate my projects? (don't say that they do or that they are just busy because you would think that they would notice a “Top Loved” project)
3. If the projects are picked by the Scratch Team how come they only notice well liked projects and if that's the case how come they haven't even looked at my project?

1) When a ST member thinks that a project demonstrates creativity, they will decide to feature it.

2) Scratch Team occasionally does comment on a project such as “Wow! This is great! It's hilarious!”. They can't go on every single project saying that they enjoy it.

3. projects that show an innovative use of Scratch
4. project that promote collaboration and remixing
5. projects that show the diversity in our community (gender, age, culture, country, interests, etc)
6. project that different kinds of people would find enjoyable
7. projects that inspire

A project CANNOT be submitted if it…
1. was created by you. This means that you CANNOT submit your project.
2. was created by someone whose project(s) have been on the front page already in the last two months (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
3. has received more than 100 love its already.
4. has violence including weapons, hurting animals or people
5. contains language inappropriate for all ages
6. is a copy of a commercial game or story, it's OK if it is inspired by though
7. has been on the front page already (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
8. doesn't work well online

They are either suggested on a forum topic ( https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/198735/ ) or the ST see a suitable project.

Not everyone gets noticed but, the ST may have seen your projects, but they don't have to comment that they have noticed you.

You already get a lot of feedback from the community from being on the front page, so you shouldn't worry if the ST don't give feedback. They also may have not enough time to give feedback.

Well liked projects appear more commonly than unliked ones, as users may favourite them link to them, etc. which gives more chance for a ST member to browse and find it.

That aside, he said it perfectly. How are 40 people supposed to comment on everything? They appreciate it I'm sure, but they can't love everything.
Anyway,
1. People suggest them in a forum, but sometimes they pick other projects.
2.17,000,000 users and 20,000,000 projects.
3. It's because the projects are on the front page, the ST members have a job and can't look at projects all the time.
