So I finally finished making my rad new profile pic today, turned it into a gif, and set it as my profile picture.
When the new picture appeared, however, it was just a picture. Not a gif. I tried again, refreshed the page, closed and reopened the browser, and still nothing worked. I checked in my files and it was definitely a working gif there. I went on google images quickly and downloaded another gif, and put that one in as a test. Welp, that didn't work either. Anyone have any suggestions?
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 56.0.2924.87, Flash 24.0 (release 0)

I have learned of solutions on both Windows and Macs. For the Windows computer, you simply need to hit Ctrl + F5. For Mac, it is slightly more complicated. Let me outline it with the application Google Chrome. I dont know how to so it on Safari or Firefox.

First off, you are going to want to hit the keys Command + Y. It will bring you to your History page. You should hit Clear Browsing Data. A new tab will open up with a menu to clear your data. Make sure history “Since the Beginning of Time” is selected and Cached Images and files. Now, before you hit the button to clear your data, make sure everything is saved. Hit “Clear Browsing Data” and you are done. Sign back into Scratch and your logo and thumbnails should be fixed, if not better than before.

Those workarounds only work so that you can change your profile picture, gifs remain frozen however.

Lol, okay. So, do I just need to wait until the ST fixes the bug? Anything I can do to fix it?

I'm on a PC. So it won't work for me. How do I do it on a PC? Please, help. I even tried tutorials and nothing seems to work!

This was an old bug, and I don't think it's relevant anymore. Additionally, the linked thread has information relevant to PC. If you're still having trouble with this - it's probably unrelated, in which case you should make a new thread.
