Has anyone noticed that most Thunderclan leaders are mentored by other Thunderclan leaders?
Such as:
Bluestar - mentored by Doestar (I think)
Firestar - mentored by Bluestar
Bramblestar - mentored by Firestar
Bluestar was originally mentored by Stonepelt, but was mentored by Sunfall (Who later became Sunstar) After Stonepelt's retirement.
I think that this chain of mentor leaders is caused by the fact that most leaders chose their former apprentices to be their deputies hence when they died their apprentices became leaders.

They do this because they know that these cats will do a good job as leader, or just by chance, in case they die before they can choose their former pupil to be the Clan deputy. The current deputy may just choose them anyway.Has anyone noticed that most Thunderclan leaders are mentored by other Thunderclan leaders?

More important things… Right. I personally think this slides in nicely with the topic at hand. And, like you said, Scratch users are the target age group.ClipBlah, blah, snippity snip.I think another thing is that it's really easy to write Warriors fanfictions, at least for me. The way the whole Warriors universe is set up it's easy to make your own character and place them in it, too. And yeah Warrior cat names are real easy to make. Personally I didn't even like cats until reading warriors- I had a pet dog and thought dogs were the greatest things and cats sucked. Once I started reading Warriors I became obsessed with cats. I definitely liked to imagine the cats I soon got as warriors-i even attempted to write a warrior fanfic where one of them did become one.
I guess something else is Warriors was something new- basically wild cats that were social like dogs so dog and cat lovers would like it. Of course now there are so many Warriors rip-offs (i mean people write “original” fiction with groups of wild cats) that its pretty much the least original thing now. Warriors has fairly good plotlines, but the characters are either mary-sue or don't even have a real personality, so I cant understand how so many people can get so obsessed with the characters. Warriors probably has more reader x character fanfics than any other fandom
Honestly, I thought more people would reply to this rant. Maybe I just made too many liable points (totally not patting myself on the back there. Or, maybe they just didn't want to read the whole thing through.
I don't mean to be rude, but I think most of us just have more important things to discussI.E. The movie. But you did make some fairly good points, although in addition Scratch user tend to be within the target age range for the Warriors books.

also a lot of ThunderClan medicine cats start out training a warriors, Spottedleaf, Yellowfang(she sort of counts) Cinderpelt Jayfeather and Alderheart wanted to be a warrior but I don't think he actually starting training as oneThey do this because they know that these cats will do a good job as leader, or just by chance, in case they die before they can choose their former pupil to be the Clan deputy. I think that's just a medicine cat thing, after all apprentices look at medicine cats as being second class to warriors so many of them choose to be warriors. This was also the case with Littlecloud of Shadowclan, Mudfur of Riverclan and Hawkheart of Windclan

Great news! I just learned that a few days ago, Alibaba Pictures, a Chinese film company, bought the rights to Warrior Cats. This means that there will in fact be at least one Warrior Cats movie, so long as the project doesn't fall flat. The release probably won't be for a few years, but it's definitely awesome news. I can share an article tonight. It's a little hard to do from my phone.I had a huge debate about this at school (i lost 15 minutes of work time) and we were trying to figure out what series/book the movie would be about, and then I realize it's obviously the first book or series. How could I think the first movie would be about The Power Of Three?!?

I think a movie about the Power of Three would bit better than a movie about the original. Jayfeather for the Win!

It would probably make the most sense to do the first series because there could be people who haven't read the books who watch the movie and in the first beginning of Warriors Rusty is new to Clan junk just like the person reading/watching is. It would just be really confusing for people new to Warriors to watch a movie based on a different arch where you're basically just thrown into the movie.Great news! I think it would be best if they made 3 movies- the first based on book 1 and 2, the second based on books 3 and 4, and the third based on books 5 and 6, because it would be hard to stop somewhere in between and each book turned movie would probably be around 40-50 minutes long. They could just have the first book as a movie but we're all going to be very disappointed if WindClan never appears in the movie and we never get to see Scourge.
If things go well hopefully they'll do more. I think if the original series is animated they could also do movies for the super editions, or at least the ones like Bluestar's Prophecy and Tallstar's Revenge about characters before the series was done.

snip snip snip hopefully I'm snipping correctly
I don't think New Scratchers can post links, but
http : / / www . silverpelt . co . uk / movie . php
(removing all of the spaces) explains why a movie isn't guaranteed (or even likely) and why if it does get made, we'll most likely all be sorely disappointed.

I think that the main series books have been getting worse over the years. That's why I don't really read them anymore. There are only so many books you can make, without it getting boring or (somewhat) repetitive :P
This is just my opinion… Does anyone else agree? If you disagree, please tell me why (nicely)

I liked the first series a lot, The New Prophecy was interesting but I found it sort of forgettable? Power of Three seems like missed opportunities and could have closed off the arc that was used for Omen of the Stars if the Erins came up with a power for Hollyleaf instead of “killing” her off, I haven't read Dawn of the Clans, and I've heard Vision of Shadows is really good but I haven't picked it up yet (I really want to, though!)I like Goosefeather and Spottedleaf.Hello!
