Hello there,
I got the idea to do something star wars-ish while playing this awesome game.
I originally thought that I could do something where you're trying to destroy the death star, then I thought bigger, and bigger. I thought of making a Huge Scale project for the ENTIRE Star Wars galaxy, there would be multiple modes such as: Sceneplay, Character, Rebellion, Empire, Free Fly, etc.
Then I realized I couldn't possibly do it myself, that's where you come in.

What I'm picturing for this collab

Scrolling planets
3D flight
Tons of missions
Tons of characters
Tons of everything you can think of
Cloud Multiplayer?
Amazingness!

A Brief History of This Collab
Started as Star Wars Galaxy on January 18, 2015 by brainstorm101
Restarted due to inactivity on August 1, 2015 by Fuzzbutt
Collab went completely dead in mid-march of 2015
As you may already know, I am restarting this collab on August 23, 2016 with the hope that it will be active, long lasting, and productive.

GOALS FOR THIS COLLAB
Since the start of this collab we have never really had a very defined idea. That is about to change. The main game will have you choose a species from the Star Wars Universe and you will start off on a random planet as nothing more than a nobody. You'll be able to work your way up, earning credits and even causing trouble until you have enough to buy(or steal) a spaceship, which you will be able to use to travel between over 50 playable planets. All planets will be based off this 2D scrolling map(which we will improve) and all planets should have buildings, people of different species, it should really depend on what type of planet(a.k.a. don't put skycrapers on Tatooine or an outdoor sauna on Hoth) And we will definitely have coruscant, where you can visit special buildings like the senate(you could even be a senator and corrupt the entire republ- I mean umm… use your power for the better of the people!), Jedi temple, and others. Speaking of jedi temples, There will be 3 options for force sensitivity: strong with the force(like Obi-wan), force-sensitive(like maz kanata, this means you can feel the force and will be able to tell who is force-using or not, but you do not have force capabilities), or not force sensitive(self explanatory). Even if you are strong with the force you might not be discovered to be, so you can use your strength on innocent civilia– I mean umm… put it to good use! There will be other game modes like a simple create a lightsaber mode which would also be in the actual game if you are strong with the force, scene mode where you can fight historical battles like the battle of jakku and you chooose which side you fight for, and free fly, where you can choose 2D or 3D depending on your computer strength and blast tie fighters to pieces. And I'm sure we can come up with a few other game modes to make it even more engaging. Overall, the past two times we have had very big goals, and that hasn't changed, but we should definitely focus on making this character or whatever you wanna call it mode the best it can be.

Jobs(you may have as many as you want as long as you are qualified and active!)
Manager: Directs people and make sure everyone is active(you cannot just be a manager)
Sprite Artist: Designs sprites like characters, species, or ships.
World Artist: Designs worlds that actually exist in Star Wars and put them into our scrolling format
Overall Artist: Heavily focused on improving the aesthetics of the game: improving the menu and just the way things look.
Animator: Programs the run and movement cycles etc.
Overall Programmer: Does odd jobs like incorporating sprites into the game, make sure everything is working smooth and fix any bugs, etc.
3D programmer: Works mainly on improving the 3D space free fly section of the game
Musician: Must have experience composing music: musicians compose pieces very that fit the star wars theme or for one world in particular.
Idea maker: Comes up with ideas that contribute to the collab and posts them or remixes a project to implement those ideas(you may not just be an idea maker)

Well, usually I'm an idea maker, but thats SO last collab. Im kinda thinking overall artist, because i like making things look sweller (that is a word).
I assume i do not have to do the App, because technically, I'm already in this, but I'm fine with doing it if I must!

Maybe. I haven't seen the project because I can't get it on this computer. I need adobe flash, or something like that.

XD Neato! Well, since we are both on, maybe we could get started on something.

I posted 3 projects today literally, improved the lightsaber maker, made the scrolling format thing customizable by removing cloning and making it backgrounds, you can find these in the studio.
